Tonight I couldn't help thinking about his last series in Cleveland, when that series with Boston got rough he pretty much checked out, because he knew he was leaving the team.

If he coasts* through another game, I will be 100% surprised if we aren't heading for the decision 2.0 this summer.

*Lebron is the only player who can score 28 and be considered coasting, but it is what it is.

He's on his 4th Finals run with minimal support against a Spurs team that has more weapons than any team in NBA history..

Durant looked the same in the WCFs..you can't beat the Spurs with 1 or 2 guys anymore..

Definitely. The teams in 2010 were even more lopsided.

    IMAGINE:

Kawhi, Boris, Parker, Green LEBRON JAMES.
Spurs benefit from LeDecision 2.0 and James and Popovich uniting geniuses?

    Think about it.

One player isn't going to beat the best team in the NBA. , OKC had the best one-two punch in the playoffs this year and they also got blown out by us.

If not for Lebron this would've been a 40 point win tbh.. and he's going to bring it on Sunday. I fully expect him to ball out.

Lebron scored 17 of the first 19 points for them in the 3rd quarter. He is doing everything he can, he just has zero help from anyone.

I totally agree with you. And the Cavs would have lost by 40 every game as well (they almost did one of them iirc).
I expect him to go nuts too. That's why I said if, and I put it in bold. If he scores under 30 and isn't really attacking, this looks like 2010 to me all over again.
Even in the postgame I might have been hearing what I want to hear. But when they asked him if he was going to do some soul searching before game 5, he blew off the question and said he wasn't going to think about bball, he was going to play with his kids.

Do you guys all think he's staying put in Miami?

Not even close 9 points in the 1st half, 19 in the 3rd. 28 points. There was absolutely no help.

    Lewis-2 points
    Wade-10 points
    Bosh-12 points
    Chalmers-4 points
    Allen-8 points

5 players (4 starters, each of those 4 logged at least 30 minutes)
    combining for 36 points

6 Heat players combining for 64 points (Including Lebron James)

Allen, and Lewis finally cooled off. Bosh has been a non-factor since Diaw started game 3 (21 total points in two games) Wade had his worst game of the Finals.

The blame really can't go with Lebron at all.

I'm definitely not "blaming" him. I'm just getting a touch of deja vu.
I wouldn't have 'blamed' him in 2010 either, guy probably had a broken back from having to carry such a team on it for so long.

the Heat are just flawed. Any team relying on Rashard Lewis at this stage of his career is pretty much done. Wade is full on TOSB status. They have no advantage on the glass and no rim protectors. Oh and they have this generation's KC Jones as their head coach...

Lebron did the best he could.

    His numbers are not bad...

Reminds me of DRob and the helpless spurs from the 90s.

At least Drobs teams were still in contention.

That's the unfair behavior of the media and casual sports fans, though..they don't look at cir stance, they only look at the win or loss result..

David Robinson was labeled a choker his entire career, despite having terrible supporting casts during his entire prime..

This. The best player DRob played with in his prime plays 10 mins max on this Spurs team.
