Hey while we're at it can we get Kobe and Dwight Howard to opt out and come to San Antonio also? Maybe James Harden? I don't understand the obsession with ball dominant manufactured stars here. We see an assembly of team first guys playing so beautifully and it should really negate the perceived need for top names

Edit: my bad obvious troll is obvious or op's username is 100% spot on

    Really!
Far more likely to get Love to come here than the fantasy of Melo or James!

Sounds weird, but I think this Spurs team would be worse with Melo.
Any team is worst with Melo.

If he stops ball movement in SA, its instant offensive death!

If he takes shots away from Kobe, it's called "improvement".

Kobe on one leg >>> Melo at his prime*
Melo is cancer for every team

    * Melo actually never reached his projected prime, he has ed up every oportunity

I pretty much agree with Chinook 100%. I am not a Melo fan at all, but he would be a tremendous addition assuming you don't blow it up. The only way that happens though is if Tim retires so it's not really something we can even talk about because of the unknowns.

It would pretty much guarantee a 'ship for the Spurs next season.
