Non-issue. We know he can shoot.

Anderson and Cotton were the most impressive.
Daye and Morris with some flashes.
Daye went hero mode , summer league![]()
I was wondering about that. Looked like Daye didn't know it on that last drive against him.
Austin Daye with the efficient 5-18!
at least they were open shots lol but i guess that makes the shooting performance even worse.
So Daye and Anderson were the only ones with multiple assists? Interesting.
did livio play?
Yeah, he wasn't forcing anything. They were good looks. Just an ugly shooting night. If he can't knock down the three he's dead to me, but shooting is the least thing I worry about with him. As Chinook said, we know he can shoot. The rest of his game, outside the excessive fouling and one stupid turnover, he looked very good.
What I liked
DA running the team - the only one that can actually run the team and create for others. Some good passes and only one bad offensively play as far as I remember. He struggled defensively, but he had to guard Stauskas for most part of the game.
Daye in the post - Shot was off but he looked great in the post. Won't be able to do it against starters in the NBA, but he might against backups and 3rd string scrubs. Could help the team eventually.
Cotton creating for himself - he doesn't look comfortable running the team, but he looks good creating for himself. Can shoot off screens, off the dribble, 3s. He is a small SG much like Mills.
Didn't like the others. Denmon was easily the biggest disappointment. Selfish, terrible shot selection, can't run the team at all.
Can't even call Ayres a disappointment because we all know that he is terrible. SA is wasting a roster spot and money with him.
Yeah. I know I sound like a broken record, but for a 7 footer (ish), Daye's got good ball handling skills. I was much more comfortable with the ball in their hands Daye, Anderson, Cotton or Morris. The rest not so much to look at. Blue had a moment or two. Others hit a few threes, but not a whole lot of basketball being played by the others.

anyone wanna let me borrow their summer league pass log ins![]()
Not sure if posted, but there's a one day trial of the Summer League Pass at NBA.com, and you can re-watch tonight's game if you missed it.
Check what I posted..no credit card required.
Positives: Anderson's and Daye's poise. Both looked like NBA players from a mental standpoint.
Cotton's aggression: He knows timidity won't get him a spot on the team.
Denmon's defense: He struggled to start the game when it came to guarding his man. His help defense was fine. He made good rotations and even protected the rim.
Negatives:
Anderson's defense. It was never really good. Some of that was physical, but a good deal was lack of effort. He wasn't enough of a plus on offense to counteract his D.
Daye's shot: Hope it gets better. He's a natural shooter, so I think it will.
Denmon's PG skills: He didn't even try to run the offense.
Everyone else's defense.
Ayres.
