KA is very promising, he's smart and likes to learn. The kid is only 20! He's still growing
Between Denmon and Daye, the game ground to a halt, the shot selection was bad, and they went down double digits when he was away from the ball. Took Cotton coming in with the second unit to right the ship. Kyle got a pass in the second quarter on a foul and canned a toe-on-the-line jumper after the whistle. He's got a legit non-jumping jumper if someone will stop showcasing themselves long enough to pass him the ball.
Downside of summer league is everyone knows Anderson already has a job.

Agree completely. The young guys on the SL team look like they have some promise. I don't see guys like Denmon or Daye suddenly figuring it out.
Anderson needs to clean up that release but he has tons of potential. I don't think Pop rolls with cotton though, they will do PG by committee or bring in a FA
That's possible, but as CD mentioned, they used him in the Mills role in the game yesterday, and the ball never hit the rim when he shot. There might not be anyone better to step into that role.
Anderson will he valuable when Manu goes to the bench and Bellinelli comes in, KA will handle the ball then.
KA's first game in the summer league
This. I first complained, about not taking Bryce when we gave our last two picks away, but since we signed him anyway, its sort of like drafting him. He's a solid all around player who hustles, which fits the mold of the team. Kid can score, he's got the neal pullup (uglier shot similar result) but can also make a layup in traffic. He's unpolished and has some herky-jerky motions with the ball, but we need a player to score with manu and patty out. I think he fits nicely. I would like to see him develop a shot running off screens. There is no indication that he couldnt do it, since he can already create his own jumper off the dribble.
Shame, but nice to see them there anyway.
Hopefully Richards gets some good burn today. This is his 3rd Summer League. Clearly the Spurs want things to work out with him. It's unlikely that things will be different this year, but when you have a 7-footer with a decent skill set you will give him multiple chances.
48moh is .
I've seen enough of Ayers. JFC.
None of this guys look like NBA players.
Errors break your legs.
Brutal to watch, nobody is setting solid screens to free up penetration.
I'd like to punch Errors in his face so much
Frazier is worse than nails on a chalkboard.
Anderson.![]()
finally scored KA
