Why? The Spurs are always real quiet about their business. How many times have you heard practically nothing about the Spurs and someone, and then out of nowhere they're finalizing a deal?

That's another reason why this doesn't look like we're getting Gasol. The fact we even acknowledged interest in him. Real CIA Pop would barely acknowledge Pau even exists.

Short answer: without.

Longer answer: shouldn't really matter in the real world. Most likely outcome of CHI getting Gasol is with MLE money; same as Spurs. There are other options where they can offer more but they are unlikely.
