I think "Cerrado" means shut/ Closed not finalized as Hoophype translated.
Article doesn't confirm anything meltdown aborted
I was wrong, Ric Bucher style, tbh. Gasol wants to play for Chicago assuming a sign and trade is possible.
Calm down... it's not gospel til Woj announces it. Still don't see how the numbers would work.
I'm holding out hope until Bucher says Gasol is going to Chicago.
Pau Gasol, a step away from playing for the Bulls
The Marca newspaper announces that Pau Gasol found the way out of the free agent labyrinth amongst many juicy options that made him one of the most sought after free agents in the NBA on this frenetic July.
Finally, the power forward will almost surely continue his career with the Bulls.
Pau has the deal almost closed with Chicago, and he would like to do the physical before returning to Barcelona in the next few days.
The deal is pending on another operation, a 'sign and trade' with the Lakers, even though Pau rejected the initial offer from the Lakers to re-new, that would even allow Pau to increase the amount of money of his signing.
Even though he thought the process would be easier and quicker, the oldest of the Gasol brothers has taken his time to decide, but the Lebron news, who's heading back to Cleveland, and the imminent announcement from Carmelo Anthony, who is likely to re-new with the Knicks, has accelerated his decision, which is almost taken.
Thunder and Spurs also wanted him, but Gasol was seduced with the Bull's project.
Well I guess he doesn't want the Spurs MLE.
it means closed
The numbers don't even work if Nash is gone, assuming the return piece is boozer
As I predicted initially via my source that Gasol wasn't signing with the spurs..
I can't believe how delusional some spurs fans are..
Called it tbh.
why not?
The meltdown in this thread will be glorious.

There is no reason to believe in this rumor, a S&T is challenging for the lakers to say the least. All this rumor is speculation but hoopshype translated wrong and now everyone is running with it.
If the Lakers block Pau from heading to the Bulls...![]()
Once the lakers renounced Pau's rights they're no longer to exceed the cap in a sign and trade
Marca article says it is dependent on a S&T with LA...
They would have to be under the cap to do it, correct
Thanks to Hill, Lin, as Young moves today that's basically impossible![]()
apalisoc_9 = tspence?
That way there is no way he can be wrong.
The numbers might work if:
1. They use the stretch provision on Nash
2. Chicago sends Dunleavy and Snell
3. Pau's first year salary is around 6.5M
