Kang showed respect to underprivileged children by raising money for the Boys' and Girls' club.
The Rockets disrespected a current member of their roster while begging for Fatmelo.
No it is not.

Did he or Did he not disrepect Cleveland? It's a yes or no question.
No, Kang just switched teams while raising money for charity.... Cleveland disrespected him with The Comic Sans Letter![]()
You did it again. But keep making excuses. If he didn't disrespect Cleveland, then why isn't he doing another tv special "for the kids"? We all know why.
Too busy vacationing, tbh![]()
I don't even know why you're even defending this ty action at this point, and citing numerous transgressions by Morey in the past somehow makes you feel it's status quo in this industry. If that we're true, we wouldn't see teams spend a dime every off season courting players left and right. They'll simply buy an ad that says "Wanted: Free Agent, Huge $$$, Apply inside"
This is not even about Lin anymore. There's always a human emotion attached in this trade, and Morey, as good as he is in analytics and numbers completely lacks this trait. You may say it doesn't matter but down the line, when all you need are a few pieces to complete your championship team, players are not going to line up to play for peanuts, when Houston is notorious for showing they don't care about you. Contrary to your belief that the bottom line for most is $$$, some of these players wanted the experience to be treated with respect that's why living conditions, quality of personnel etc are always taken into considerations.
Players don't come for the GM. They come to play with the stars of the teams. Guys will play at a discount if it is a championship caliber team. Who else has made a big deal out of Morey "disrespecting them"? Kevin Martin?![]()
You call it spin, everyone else calls it truthbombs....
Human emotion gets players overpaid. (Les Alexander)
GM oversees a lot of things in your franchise. No one said players comes for a GM, but he's the voice of your team and a reflection of your business dealing. Role players would sure come to Houston but it will come with a higher price tag considering Morey is now known as a guy who treats his players like used condoms![]()
Yeah I'm sure they'll overlook that 15 million Lin is getting for playing like a used condom.
That's precisely my pointThe chances of attracting ring chasing players coming to play for cheap are slim. You'd have to grossly overpay average rotation players like Lin a huge amount of money to play for your team
![]()
Because Lin's number was used as part of a recruitment pitch when he was likely leaving anyway? Give me a break.
You don't still don't get it. Players can be gullible as , that's why agents requests for incentives, restrictions and conditions to protect their clients. The difference between a GM like Morey and Riley is simply reputation which leads to how they conduct business. One has the ability to attract useful players at a discounted rate while the other has no ability to get the same type of pieces unless overpaying for it.
Those useful players must be the reason Miami got their pushed in against SA.
This...Rockets staff were a-holes.
Yeah, nevermind the fact Ray Allen essentially gave Miami a chance to win the le in 2013![]()
Damn. When you put it like that...
Ray Allen. Is he the only notable role player Riley pulled in? He was ring chasing anyway.
I was with you till you posted this whackass![]()
-100 points son. Kang shat on the CavsPERI
