No, not sure if he can ever handle such a team. Too many egos, too much influence from the president and stuff.

For me he's also pretty overrated. Good at motivating guys but after some time it's overused.

Jurgen Klopp will end up with a knife on Florentino's neck by December. Not sure if Madrid fans would love that, but Florentino will never see things eye-to-eye with Klopp.

Klopp wants control over player development and transfer decisions. Flo, well... let's just say he is a control freak as well.

UEFA put on an new system for the draw. The top 7 national champions (Spain, England, Germany, Italy, France, Portugal and Russia) and the winner are drawn out of group/pot 1. Groups 2 to 4 are strictly made out of UEFA-rankings. When groups are drawn, still no unilateral head2heads are allowed...

Since Barca und Juve already both won their league, the 8th team in pot 1 will be PSV Eindhoven out of the 8th best league in Europe.

Real, Porto and others will be drawn out of 2 or lower...

No Suarez was the biggest reason. Just cause you spent 80 million pounds after selling him for as much, won't feline you the results you want. I'm not sure how much was spent, but I know Lovren and Lallana were over 50 million combined.
