Post some forgotten gems if you can find them...I'll start with a primo 2001 Bears-Browns classic featuring Tim Couch, Shane Matthews, James Jackson (the forgotten Hurricoons back of the great 98-02 era), and Antony A-Train Thomas. Coaching duel between Butch Davis and Jauron. Remember this one JoeTait75? The 49ers-Bears game a week earlier was insane too.
Start at 35:00 min mark:
Cards make the postseason for the first time in my lifetime:
Coming back from torn achilles, cokehead was on his game
Hollywood couldn't have scripted it any better.
It's 1985 and the Chicago Bears are beating up everyone, then it becomes...."can they match the Dolphins as the only undefeated team? And it's looking like...yes they can.
Then here comes a Monday Night Football game in......Miami.
Yep, that's right it took the Dolphins to save the Dolphins. The Bears only lost one game in 85.
Other than a HS game between Porterville and Tulare Union...86-79** the best football game I ever saw....
Boise State beating Oklahoma.......sorry NFL.
** only HS game I'd been to in years.

Speaking of near-undefeateds, anybody remember the Kent Graham deep ball to Amani Toomer late in the 4th that dealt 13-0 Denver their first loss (1998)? Dolphins would go on to beat them next week on Monday night, but the Giant game is always forgotten
Yep, I remember that (now). But....I had forgotten about it.
can't find a youtube link but this is absolutely worth it

I remember watching that game at Town Tavern on Southside of Pittsburgh...year after they won the SB, start 6-2 then lost 5 in a row, including that game. Ended the year 9-7, had a win against GB (a game for the ages), but missed out on the playoffs. The defense just inexplicably collapsed that year, but those Steelers were dangerous as offensively
Ravens/Seahawks 2003

They used to have an NFL Sound FX of this game on Hulu, but it got taken down for some reason. That was a treat of a game.
Bucs and Rams in 2000:
Sucks I can't find a better video. That was one of my favorite games of all time. Pretty much the reason why I still follow them.
Those Bucs teams really were "paper champions" till Gruden righted the ship.
Ravens, Chargers 2006
Another game Hulu had an FX for that isn't available now. Steve McNair threw the game-winner to Todd Heap with less than a minute left in the game.
Let's not forget the Cowboys and Redskins in that same year. The Boys were about to kick the game-winning FG with time expiring. It got blocked a returned (by Sean Taylor--RIP) to just inside Dallas' territory with no time left on the clock. But Dallas was called for a facemask penalty, which allowed Washington to get an untimed kick. Redskins 22, Boys 19.
Actually, the NFC East has had a lot of good finishes over the years.
I remember my jaw being on the floor after that second TD. Perfect throw from Brunell
Remember the Jets-Bucs game that same year? The one with Keyshawn yapping his mouth (surprise, I know) and talking about little white Wayne Chrebet, only to get served up a sandwich at the end, then refusing to face the media.
God that was great
if we start throwing in playoff/superbowl games this list can expand quickly
I've been excluding anything more recent than five or six years ago, since I think most of us remember those games. But we've been treated to some great games recently, as well.
da fuq are that white dude and Strahan doing?
