El, I am willing to give them a chance here. They are paying for some gambles: kobe extension, Nash trade, Dwightmare that they crapped out on. All of those moves (Except the extension) was lauded and feared all over and in in this forum when they happened. Once Kobe comes off the books and with all future moves I can judge fairly. I dont see how Mitch.Buss get all the credit for when we Blaming Jimbo is a cop out excuse and easy target for Laker fans.

They also hired Mike Brown and D'Antoni, passed on Phil, etc. It's not that I think they don't care about the Lakeshow, but it's more of a matter of being incompetent. Mitch looked good when Jerry West did him a solid and Dr Buss backed him up, but I also think the Lakeshow are a prime example right now what a poisonous leadership will do to your team. It's a shame too, because Dr Buss deserved better. He stood to Shaq when Shaq was still good, and stood even to Kirby, ready to ship his ass to Detroit. It's the hard choices that test your mettle.

Phil chased out Jerry West. I blame Dr. Buss for allowing it ...but that was on Phil. He would have mentored Mitch. Mitch also stole Ariza did not overpay him and replaced him with Artest which was a great move needed for Pierce. To say he did not make smart moves after West left is a lie. Even teh Bynum trade for Dwight even though we struggled and he left was a great move.

Again From the outside easy to blame Fredo for it all but it's not that simple. Dr. Buss signed off on cutting Lester and the other scouts during the lockout. Dr. buss fell asleep at the wheel period. no one wants o lay blame at his feet thanks to the les under his watch but he is part of the reason why we are in this mess may he rest in peace. But those are the facts.

I have a lot to look forward for this upcoming postseason. This is going to be a historic season for God and one that will be talked about for years to come. God is going to lead the Lakers back to the le. I'm confident this is going to happen that I'm already thinking about what I'm going to wear to the championship parade.
