I dunno, tell me what it's like to lose a championship after already having won it. We've won 16 and kept all of 'em.
Just curious. What do you guys do in the post season? Of course you're going to say something about ing someone's mom or sister or something everyone here knows damn well you don't do. But really... what is it like to not have any basketball to watch after around, oh.... Christmas? I mean, your team gives up around that time, around about when Kobe decides he's too good to be a leader of a team that's not stacked.
To be honest, I cannot recall missing the post season in so long... I've forgotten.

I can tell by the new threads I inspired that missing the post season doesn't bother anyone, and then there's the Spurs fans posing as Lakers fans, taking the obvious routes.

Just glad last season is over and D'antoni is gone. Hasnt happened much tbh ... but I got to watch playoffs with a "fresh pair of eyes". And it was enjoyable. Got to appreciate how much value there is in RC & Pop over overrated coaches like Doc and Vogel. Saw how overmatched Brooks and McHale were did not get to see Dwight implode he actually got better as the playoffs continued but his team crashed and burned all the same ...Plus the Celts were even tier than us, so there is that.

Hear, hear... but coaches switching chairs is not going to fix the root of the problem, IMO... you have ty ownership, and that needs to be fixed first, IMO
El, I am willing to give them a chance here. They are paying for some gambles: kobe extension, Nash trade, Dwightmare that they crapped out on. All of those moves (Except the extension) was lauded and feared all over and in in this forum when they happened. Once Kobe comes off the books and with all future moves I can judge fairly. I dont see how Mitch.Buss get all the credit for when we Blaming Jimbo is a cop out excuse and easy target for Laker fans.
