so many bricks the TV crew tries to classify him as a forward, maybe he'll stop shooting
Over/under: 1000 missed shots for Kobe this season. He has 120 through 8 games, an even 15 per game. He'd need 11.9 misses per game over the final 74 (if he plays every game) to crack 1000.
so many bricks the TV crew tries to classify him as a forward, maybe he'll stop shooting
Kobe: 10/28 36%
Rest of team: 25/56 45%
you have to admire that he just doesn't give a anymore, tbh..
Usually when he gets criticized for shooting too much, he follows it up with a couple of games where he's stubbornly over-passing..
All these Bricks lead to easy transition points..
your typical kobe fan would never admit..
what is brick mamba's fg% vs the rest of team's so far this season?
Assistbe always follows a 15+ brick game. Yeah, this year Kirby is done. He doesn't give a .
I was at the game tonight, and you are spot on.... he just does not care anymore. It was really a sad sight to see. All he did was shoot the ball. Winning the game never crossed his mind. I didn't know whether to just feel sorry for him or to get upset that he was a disgrace the the sport. All I cared about what that his style of play guaranteed a win for my team tonight.
Lakers: 301/676 = 44.5%
Kirby: 76/196 = 38.8%
Rest of team: 225/480 = 46.8%
League average: 286/638 = 44.9%
Without Kirbs chucking, Lakers would be the 7th best shooting team in the league, instead they are 16th
Another interesting stat, with 120 bricks there are only 19 players in the entire league that have attempted as many shots as Kirbs has bricked. And 7 of those players have played an extra game.
with the missed bricks that lead to transition points, lol all nba defense my ass
Turnaround fadeaway over a double-team.
Seems fitting.
And a good time was had by all, tbh.
Kawhi blanketing Kirbs, not even letting him get off his chucks
Open Lin. Open Price.
Another brick for the ages to end the half of game vs the Spurs.
26 bricks
4 bricks tonight, 0-4 shooting, 3 foodstamps
would be scoreless if refs didn't gift him 3 foodstamps from a half court chuck at the end of the 1st
Duncan outclassing Kirbs in every aspect of this game
So just how big of a chucker was Hondo? The fact that he held that record for so long is actually fairly astounding
and to think some young kid dreaming of this record is getting further and further away from it
