For everybody's information. Kobe (and Westbrook) are both on pace to beat Kobe's 2005/06's record of most FGA/100 possessions.

In the 05/06 season, Kobe jacked up 35 shots on every 100 possessions, and that doesn't even include the times he was fouled (13.2FTA). If you were to assume 2FTA for every possession, that's an extra 6.6 times he shot every 100 possessions. In other words, in 100 possessions when he's on the floor, you can expect Kobe to shoot the ball or get to the FT line 41.6 times, which is even HIGHER than his league leading usage rate of 38.7%

This year, after 5 games, Kobe is sitting at 35.1 FGA/100p, and 12.7FTA/100p, using the above logic, that's 41.4 Kobe shots/100 possessions, and his usage rate this year is actually almost he same as his MVP season at 38.6%.

As to fouls, i have caught a good portion of Flamers games and conservatively, 50% of Ko s received foul calls are pure bull . As has been his entire career. No change whatsoever. We are not talking "close calls" or "calls that could go either way". These are pure bull gifts, continued. The networks play ball by changing the subject ala Vagina Miller talking about being bloated and puffy, etc.

The only difference is he does not have Shaq, Pau, healthy Odom etc to carry him. Nor fellow gift receiver Derek Swisher.
