Well that escalated quickly. Pretty good ending to episode 4. Final image of John Walker was a big departure from the last Cap.
Captain Abomination reporting for duty, tbh.
I don't hate this show and I don't love it. Just meh.
The Carly Morgenthau part of the show is the least interesting part tbh, that's my biggest criticism. Far more interested in the Bucky-Sam-Zemo dynamic and the Bucky-Sam-Walker dynamics. Those are the most interesting parts that they should lean into more. Also like Sharon Carter and the Dora Milaje showing up, kind of feels like a direct continuation of the Cap franchise, Infinity War, and Endgame.
Yeah, I'm really digging the week-to week format. Especially since it's giving a lot more screen time to characters like Wanda, Vision, Bucky, Sam, Rhodey, and Loki.
Carly is a very underwhelming villain so far. The whole story line is thin. There's no running backstory either.
Cant believe they had the balls to pull that off.
Setting up for young avengers and thunderbolts
Apparently the flagsmashers story line got drastically cut. There was originally going to be a "Madbomb" storyline where they unleash a bomb that turns people crazy as a means of population control/terrorism.
With the pandemic, they cut the story-line leaving a big whole in that side of the story. Too bad.
If anyone in this thread hasn't checked out "Invincible" yet on Amazon prime, you might want to. At times it seems like rated PG stuff that's already been done over and over (probably on purpose since they don't even hide that Jk Simmons character looks just like JJ Jameson among other things)... And then suddenly it will take a violent turn with nice plot twist. 8/10, imo
Kind of my thoughts. I'm interested in the Sam/Bucky/New Captain America dynamic, but the Flagsmashers/super soldier serum stuff is pretty bland so far.
lol I didn’t expect that cameo at all
Also there is a post credit scene for those who missed it
So WandaVision was clearly a set up for DS: MoM. What movie are they setting up with this show? Doesn't look like this story line fits in with any of the announced upcoming flicks.
Or will they simply continue with a Season 2?
Not an immediate movie
Or maybe another series
Or nothing at all lol
Probably a season 2 or maybe a new Captain America trilogy feature Cap-Falcon, TWS, and the new Falcon. I guess if Rhodey appears again, it could set up armor wars.
Will Sam Wilson Cap always need a partner to defeat his enemies though? I mean he really doesn't get the shield from Walker without Bucky's help. It took Bucky and super soldier serum Cap to beat Iron Man. I think it's fine to change the person with the Captain America le but I'd still like him/her to be slightly above the average human when it comes to super powers. Or will the suit from Wakanda compensate? Using the same technology from Black Panther's suit. And I hope it leads to another movie at some point.

It’s supposed to be a multi season series. Someone said it could be a set up for Secret Wars
man that new venom comic story with the god of darkness....that should be turn into a movie...
It hasn't been confirmed for season 2. This just might be just be its own thing with characters moving on to different properties. Only What If...? and Loki are confirmed as having season 2 with She Hulk and Ms. Marvel and Moon Knight being probable.
This and Wanda-Vision could spin off into its own things. Maybe Wanda and White Vision in a West Coast Avengers show and Cap-Falcon possibly showing up in Armor Wars and Secret Invasion and then appearing in New Avengers along with Bucky, Wanda and Vision.
Lol didn't know angry Cap Walker is Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn son, but it's now easy to see the resemblance to Kurt
Yay we finally get to see the Mandarin
