gifted games thru bogus reffing. Spurs always legit.
failure to recognize Timmy Duncs over Dork.
Ellis is the better player overall than TC at this moment, i mean his market value might be higher but apparently big daddy TC is more valuable to our team since he's our defensive anchor and our primary rebounder. We could start Devin or even Felton at SG if Ellis went down, but if TC suffers a serious injury and misses considerable games we'd be no better than what we were the past seasons since 2011.
If only we could perform better in the 3rd quarter. I guess I understand we put great effort in the 1st half. But Harris and Wright help us when our starters fail.
these refs. They could be the cause of the Monte Ellis injury. you.
How did he get hurt?
How bad was the injury?
Monta is tough like a nut though, don't worry.
Yep. But still these refs allowed some physical play. Which kept escalating until a hard foul was made. I hate refs that allow this.
Rondo pulled him from behind when he was in the air going for a layup.
You would think the fan of a team that won its only championship with Tyson Chandler as its second best player would know not to put overrated chuckers like Monta Ellis ahead of him as basketball players.
Ariza, monstrous again
They will give up tons of points
ariza was good, I'll eat if he even maintains 16ppg on decent shooting though.
He is a better fit if the team is serious about defense.
won't be a better fit once Harden enters choke mode and they need someone to create shots.
Good news is that what Ariza does doesn't affect Dallas.
i know. i was responding to Sook, who is upset at Parsons leaving, while i've been arguing Ariza fits just fine anyway
I don't know how you said he is a worse fit than Parsons. Plays better D than Parsons (Parsons does not play D, look at what Jeff Green did against him last night), and is a better three point shooter. Mavs are playing like the Rockets last year with him in the lineup. They just try to outscore the opponent and not play D because they can't. Parsons is a good player, but not at that price.
Parsons defense had little to do with Green last night. Parsons wasn't on him for much of the game, and he got probably 2/3 of those points by running a 1 man fast break and somehow hitting a bunch of pull-up jumpers and 3s in transition.
I'm not saying Parsons is some great defender, although he certainly has had times so far this season where he seemed to play better defense than he did in Houston, but last night's explosion by Green and Avery Bradley didn't have much to do with him. They just couldn't miss anything, and Boston got an absurd amount of offensive rebounds leading to wide open 3s.
