Mike Ditka has weighed in on the recent St. Louis Rams/Ferguson protest, and as usual, he left no room for misinterpretation of his words or intent."I’m embarrassed for the players more than anything," Ditka said in his weekly Chicago Sun-Times column. "They want to take a political stand on this? Well, there are a lot of other things that have happened in our society that people have not stood up and disagreed about."
Ditka pushed further with harsh words for the protesters in Ferguson itself. "The shame of it is, I’m not sure [protesters] care about Michael Brown or anything else," he said. "This was a reason to protest and to go out and loot. Is this the way to celebrate the memory of Michael Brown? Is this an excuse to be lawless? Somebody has to tell me that. I don’t understand it."
From there, Ditka held forth on the entire dispute between police and the public. "I wasn’t in Ferguson. I don’t know exactly what happened," he said. "But I know one thing: If we dismantle and limit the power of our policemen any more than we have already, then we’re going to have a lot of problems in this country. What do you do if someone pulls a gun on you or is robbing a store and you stop them? I don’t want to hear about this hands-up crap. That’s not what happened. I don’t know exactly what did happen, but I know that’s not what happened."
Ditka's comments are reminiscent of Charles Barkley, who held forth with similarly scathing commentary earlier this week. "There is no excuse for people to be out there burning down people's businesses, burning down police cars," Barkley said.
St. Louis police protested the Rams players' move, but the NFL and the team indicated that no punishment would be forthcoming.

The NFL is big business, they have marketing situations, they have sponsers. They are a brand. You do not use that brand to make an individual statement unless asked to do so. You do not use the NFL platform for your own personal agenda. Those players were wrong and should have been disciplined.

This.....well how about Tommie Smith and John Carlos? Well first off they were disciplined, they were asked to leave the Olympics. And they weren't professional athletes with affilations and a brand to worry about.

What if we had...IVory...magazine? Historically White Colleges and Universities? The White Entertainment Network? How about....Miss White America? How about an online dating site for whites only.

The problem is black men don't want the responsibity of raising their children. 70%, yep...SEVENTY%...of all black children are raised in a one parent home. So there are all these black boys out running the streets acting stupid. No man to....get your ass home and stay there, by 15 Willie can whip mom. While messing with a man a totally different deal.

Until black men start raising their kids there are going to be problems out on the streets.

Mike Ditka is powerful and wealthy?..I'm sure he has some money, but probably nothing that puts him above most notable NFL players, and he certainly doesn't have any power..

Old White Man are the Globes and especially Americas decision makers. The working class will turn browner, but the wealthy will remain white & yellow

This myth and hope that "Racism will die out" is just that, a disillusioned hope.

Jews are Globally more hated today
Blacks are more accepted but less liked than in the past
There is more resentment towards Hispanics in America than ever before
Middle Easteners most disliked since the 1500's

The only clear benefactors are Asians

Doesn't have anything to do with the old White man's opinion on race relations being out of touch..it isn't really debatable..

And I hope you have fun continuing to cheer for old White men acquiring more wealth and power, as it doesn't actually affect your personal life..living vicariously through the success of the financially elite isn't any different than people living vicariously though the physically elite(which is something you deeply hate)..

Farmers love their farming animals. People put collars and leashes on their pets.

Sure you have a very small percentage of Americans like Avante but for the most part Non-Blacks would prefer all Blacks to return to Africa. This isn't the case with Non-Asians, Non-Whites or Non-Browns [Food, women, & lifestyle]

All BS aside, while the issues of the police being overly aggressive are a quasi-important issue, the bigger problems that have passed us all by that we as doctors are educated on are the fact that the food industry is poisoning our foods to save money on their end. It's not a conspiracy theory, its just cheaper to produce mass amount of food to keep up with the ridiculously overpopulated planet. To their defense, they really don't know what else to do. They can't keep up with overpopulation, so they make overpopulated areas of food animals that are highly sick.

Meanwhile, 80% of the antibiotics produced on Planet Earth go to bovine animals which are forming new super bugs, these bugs are not theoretical, they are here and have begun killing thousands of Americans each year. They have no idea what to do, antibiotics are not working on these bugs. While its illegal to mention this, we had a patient who scraped his knee during a baseball game, the antibiotics were not working on him and it spread systemically causing sepsis. He died, a healthy young man over a baseball game.

This is not from EATING meat, this is the fact that cows are used as reservoirs by these bacterial species to become super monsterous bugs. However, this isn't a sexy storyline so no one really panics. It's much sexier to talk about blacks v whites as if that's the downfall of our planet. Meanwhile there is poison in your food.

If I walked up to you while you ate your sandwich and put a small dose of poison, just enough to destroy you a little each day you'd stab me with a knife and be right in doing so. However, since you dont see it, you're cool with it.

We all have an image of what you think a farm looks like, and here is what a farm in America actually looks like aka feedlots

    These cows are extremely sick.

Actual healthy cows that we should be eating aka cows in Europe

They'd be reminded that whites did all those things during the formation of this country, when they were raging against the British "tyrants".
