Outside of that laughable Lakers loss, Them Spurs were playing tough ass teams.

Players matter. The Spurs are not a superstar fueled team. There's no scoring le for anyone, no DPOY trophy, no assists leader on the team, probably not even an all star. They have to play as a team and that requires they have all their pieces. They do better without one of the big 3 than without their best defender and backup PG. The bench is huge for SA. Take that away and they are a middle of the pack team at best.
