SEC West = 2-5 in bowl games
SEC West STACKKKKKKEEDDDD
So stacked that we don't even need to win important bowl games
"We'll just share A&M and Arky's wins because dets what we ing do"
"But we do it for the conference"
"God's conference"
Cupcake schedule
Dirty recruiting tactics
Bama with Saban can't win the Sugar Bowl unless its playing another SECond team.
At least Alabama was compe ive against a 3rd string QB nobody ever heard of
PISSISSIPPI
2-5 bowl season and THAT'S with the conference picking games.
The reverse jinx worked
If you look close enough you can see Avante's legs. Nice vacation for him, he deserved it.
Under the old BCS Bama woulda kicked FSU's ass and SEC SEC SEC
Thank in christ for the playoff. Bama didnt belong. Their best win and their 'quality' loss were against pretty mediocre Pississippi teams. Their secondary was in trash and any QB with decent ability torched them deep. The only reason they continued to be ranked so high was because of the SEC gotry.
This is a stupid post. How many other teams outside of Oregon had a better resume? Alot of the top 5 teams had similar resumes to Bama except for the Big 12 which was down all season.
BCS would have matched up FSU and Alabama. Oregon deserved a spot more than Alabama.
You're right about that how the BCS would have matched the two teams up, but that re was saying Alabama had no business being up there which is re ed. The problem isn't Bama being up there, its FSU. That's where the flaw of the BCS came in to effect. Same thing happened in 2012 where an overrated Notre Dame got in the game due to being undefeated against a mediocre schedule. Bama deserved to be in that game, but Oregon should have gotten in over Notre Dame. The committee got it right having Oregon and Bama in the top two.
I'll give the SEC respect for being a great conference. But it is annoying how certain people are acting like Ohio State didn't have speed before last night. Like Ted Ginn wasn't fast? Joey Galloway? Robert Smith? The Buckeyes on both sides of the ball that became NFL standouts- those guys weren't fast? Ohio State has always had great athletes. If they've lost a bunch of times to SEC opponents, well, it isn't as if they've been losing to Vanderbilt and Kentucky. They've been beaten by great teams. It happens. This wasn't the first Buckeye team capable of playing with the SEC's best.
