Not exactly a ringing endorsement.
Not exactly a ringing endorsement.
It's not up to him. He's already given Strong all the support he possibly can.
Still, an AD should know how to give a better answer. UT can afford to have someone proofing these responses. "I assume so" is stupid. I have every intention of bringing Coach Strong back next season, and every season that he is under contract. Coach Strong has my full support. We knew going into this season that there were going to be some growing pains; however, we feel like coach Strong is still the man bring Texas Football back to elite status.
The AD should be able to say something simple like that.
True. It's also Kurt Bowels. Who knows what was actually said? I wish the Statesman had gone this hard after Mack when he was burning the program to the ground.
Concur.
AAS really enjoys bashing UT Football on Twitter and everywhere they possibly can. Its like they want to continue to humiliate the program.
I am not thrilled with his comment on Gray. He has not shown much this year. He has probably displayed a good at ude and perhaps that is why Norvell gave him the compliment.
So are they just slow or did something new recently happen?
I didn't get to hear the interview, but apparently Mike & Mike have talked Strong and UT for the past three days.
Just posting this stuff because I think it's relevant, even though most of these national guys don't know about UT football.
But the point is it's not a good sign for Charlie when you're being beat up in the media repeatedly like he is right now.
This team is killing Bevo:

Well if nothing else, he got to chill in his office with tigers so there's that
Inside Texas saying OL Jake Raulerson is getting his fair share of first team reps at center this week.
Or it was early June of this year, but what does it matter
Still think he should have been given a shot at blocking TE, putting him out there would have given our running game a lift. But if he can take over the Center spot I like our line going into next season.
It doesn't, I was thinking in terms of football seasons as before the start of this current football season.
I like Jake, but he's still too young and small. He needs at least another year to develop. Him getting snaps is a bad sign for the OL and a bad omen of what is to come.
