Wow.
Man what a cheap shot.
Ok, I hope LSU and Leonard crush them.

Per 24/7, DT Michael Williams made an unofficial visit to Texas today because his high school team is in town for their private school championship being played in Round Rock. He will not be at the game tomorrow.
DT Kendell Jones also won't make it.
DT Michael Williams (Fort Worth All Saints)
If Foles passed Brees and Ehlinger passed Foles, does this mean that Ehlinger will also throw 7 TD passes in one game in the NFL?
DT Mike Williams recently took a unofficial to Texas. It supposedly was pretty random because he just happened to be in Austin for a school function. The visit didn't seem to go that well partially because it was a little unexpected and partially because it seems like they don't have him as a top priority. He's made it clear that if he gets accepted into Stanford then that's where he's going.
— He didn't get to talk to the coaches much during his visit because they were in meetings.
— He did see Charlie Strong but added that the tour was extremely quick because of the aforementioned meetings.
— He is still strong with Stanford and isn't sure what UT can do to flip him.
— Overall, it didn't seem like he had a great time on his visit because he didn't get to spend much time with the staff.
I think the NCAA should have done more to change the rules for Men's basketball. You want increased offense.......
24 or 25 second shot clock
widen the paint to NBA width
NBA 3-pt. line.
no exception to 10 seconds to get past half court
limit amount and types of zone defenses
All of the above will force offenses to move at a faster pace, causing more shots per game, which in turn promotes more points per game.......IMO, with my rule changes, you go from games played from the 60s and below, to games played in the 80s, 90s, and even triple digits.
BTW, good scrimmage for Texas, but I would like to see a bit more team play and less one on one.....I do love the defensive intensity though. If Shaka can instill that Army Ants style of defense in the Horns, even when our offense is failing for stretches, we should be fine.
Converse Judson's DE Alton Robinson is a freakin' beast.....It chaps my hide that he declared to play for A&M. I am not upset that he isn't a Longhorn, but why A&M, they are the SEC West's bottom feeder. I am sure it is because he wanted to stay closer to home, but I would have jumped all over Michigan and Harbaugh, over the chaos and underachieving that is going on in College Station,
Swagcopter has swag
the sec move has officially made a&m the big brother get used to being out recruited ............... a&m facilities > texas ........... a&m conference > texas.....
a&m atmosphere > texas............. texas = a&m circa 2002-2003...............
Austin v. College Station?
When aggsy wins something then they can possibly claim to be Texas equal until then they will continue to be lesser.
...Aggy will never be big brother. They are just (fake)soldiers of fortune. Aggy may pull a few classes that are better than Texas during this transition but there's no reason to "get used to being out recruited."
They've benefited from a move to the SEC mixed with Mack checking out mentally, which has led to where Texas is now. Rumlin's foundations are already cracking a bit there. Either Strong will get the ship righted or he will be fired...and you can bet that Texas won't make the same mistake twice. They will bring in an established coach who get the program back where it's supposed to be.
Unless you can beat big brother, you can't become big brother.
I have no idea why they didn't try to stretch the field more vs Iowa St.
Got a $20 bet with a guy at work at -20. Feeling pretty good about it right now.
OL Zach Shackelford (Belton)

We'll see what the reports say, but the Shackelford offer should be for the interior OL and possibly as a center.
I'd expect him to flip to Texas and possibly soon.
We should be losing.
Outgained by Kansas so far.
Heard appears to have regressed.
Awful 2nd Qrt. Score lies.
I only mentioned Texas because I am a Horns fan. Texas was never in the mix. I questioned why he chose A&M over the likes of Michigan and even Alabama......Both Michigan and Bama are upper echelon teams, while A&M is a SEC doormat.
BTW, the SEC is very overrated. I am not the only one who sees this. Many in the national media also know this fact. Basically, it is those who gave the SEC that huge TV deal that made the decision that the SEC was the best conference.....makes sense, as they want high ratings for their product, so they perpetuate the myth. They have a very weak non-conference schedule. They have a poor bowl game record as of late.
As much as I dislike the conference, the Big 10 is a pretty good conference right now. The Pac 16, isn't too shabby. The Big 12 has a few teams, but overall is it subpar. The ACC has a few teams as well, but the rest of the league is not that good.
Heard is making freshman mistakes........just stupid. He has become so predictable as well. We all know he isn't going to throw the ball. We need a QB coach who can coach these kids up....teach them how to throw short, intermediate, and deep passes. Teach them to read their progressions. Teach them to throw timing routes. It is a disgrace that we cannot groom a QB to get better each week.
