Foreman's extra gear...![]()
missed the fumble & td run props on udpates
Looks like they've found something. WVU's lack of tackling is getting exposed. Now just gotta stop shooting toes off their foot with the penalties.
so much for that
Hilarious -- didn't even try to move the ball to end the half. 3 timeouts and nearly a minute on the clock. Gray for 3. Gray for 3. Gray for 3. Just wow.
can we haz oc who will pass to burt................
Well, I believe burt was wide open on the pass by Swoopes that went into double coverage. He was all alone in the end zone. At least I think it was Burt. I get confused between 1 and 5. 5 was wide open..
this losing ish is getting......... i now know how it felt to be a&m pre sec move
..........
I've got a ton of patience, but this coaching staff makes a lot of stupid ass mistakes. Also, Heard is not very good. Neither is Swoopes. I'm not saying they should fire Strong, but at this point I might pack a sock or two. All I wanted to see this year was consistent improvement. They're getting worse. I'm going to owe Djohn a ing apology when this pitiful season is over.

Yeah I've been having patience with Charlie Strong and the naysayers but wow this team can't show a single bit of improvement. Looks like a team that doesn't practice and shows up to play hoping to piece together a win. We may not have great talent on this team but we should be much more compe ive in a lot of these games. Strong and staff can't get these guys to play, were underachieving.
24/7 reporting OL Denzel Okafor will make his commitment tonight.
TFloss, it's times like this when I wonder how do you keep going with what you do in this site. When we lose like this, I just want to disconnect. You keep going. Good stuff dude #Respect
Done deal.

Much needed recruit for Strong...
Here are Friday's notes on Texas targets.
— Denham Springs (La.) defensive end Caleb Roddy will make an official visit to Texas after the season. Roddy is currently committed to LSU but was high on the Longhorns before his pledge.
— McDonogh 35 (La.) defensive tackle Stephon Taylor was expected to announce his top schools and set his official visits this week. Taylor, however, is still working on setting up trips and has postponed the release.
— I’ve been told that Texas will evaluate Blinn C.C. offensive lineman Abdul Beecham. The three-star guard out of Converse Judson holds a handful of offers. Texas stopped by Blinn C.C. during the bye week.
— Four-star La Grange [COLOR=#1B8EDE !important]athlete J.K. Dobbins will make an unofficial visit to SMU in a few weeks. Dobbins is a top priority for the Longhorns in the 2017 class.
— Three-star 2017 Houston Bellaire defensive end Alexander Duke made a verbal commitment to Houston last night. Duke camped with Texas and is on the Longhorns’ radar.
Higdon's chat
- DT Jordan Elliott will commit to Texas. FACT
- Texas will finish with a Top 10 recruiting class. FACT
- Relationships, playing time, and location all take precedence over pure W-L record in recruiting. As does ability to reach the NFL.
- If the entire staff were to be let go, recruiting would get very bad very quickly.
The single most important thing to accomplish right now is getting Shane as an EE in January. He is the best fit for Texas among any of the HS QB's I have watched.
- The next great safety for Texas is already on campus, Jordan Elliott. Texas needs to land another running mate to go with Elliott in the future and they will.
- On how Texas beat out TCU for Denzel Okafor:
Relationships took over and at the end of the day won out. Coaches did a great job with not only Okafor but his family. After NSD I can go into some more detail.
- Texas is puting the full-court press on Brandon Jones and Deontay Anderson right now. Chris Brown is also in the mix.
- Patrick Hudson's sister will not end up at Baylor.
- On recruiting package deals:
Every school recruiting Devin Duvernay knows going in if you want him you better offer and take his brother Donnovan.....So, if only Baylor or a few others were willing to go that direction then so be it. Each school has the option of going that package deal route. If you are willing to take a flier on a kid bc you think the other kid is a great player then that is on you and your coaching staff but it doesn't really bother me at all. At times it could be warranted but you better not make too many of those deals or you will get in trouble somewhere down the line. the different sport situation as this one is makes WAY more sense to me...Hey, if you can get your track coach to offer the kids sister to ensure you land the player and it doesn't cost the football program two ships whats wrong with that. that sounds like the best of both worlds to me
- Tope Imade is a road grader. You could see him enter thw two-deep at RG and push Vahe to center next season if Raulerson can't step up.
- DT Ed Oliver will sign with Houston regardless of whether or not Tom Herman stays at Houston. None of their recruits are potential targets for us.
- Texas has some good kids they are recruiting at safety in addition to the above-the-board names (Jones, Anderson, Brown).
S Innis Gaines of Beaumont Westbrook committed to TCU yesterday:

Yeah it's DeShon. I saw the error and intended to correct it but forgot.
