Offer watch:
Inside Texas had a good article yesterday on some JUCO prospects on UT's radar.
Coach Traylor has been on both Tuamasaga and Rhodes:
TE, Buddy Tuamasaga, Tyler Junior College (Tyler, TX)

Wow, that field has some nice background scenery.
Some quotes from OL Jean Delance of North Mesquite (24/7):
“Me and Malik (Jefferson) are really good friends,” Delance said. “He’s just been telling me that he loves Texas and that it feels like home. He keeps telling me to go hang out with him and check out how the coaches run things. I’m definitely going to do that this summer.”
“I saw those NFL numbers, and there is no question Coach Strong is going to do that at Texas, especially if he keeps landing four- and five-stars,” Delance said. “I know I won’t be too worried about making it to the NFL if I go to Texas.”
that's a relief.
I think Jace Amaro going first round is where this dude's head is at.
DT Ed Oliver of Spring Westfield has committed to Houston.
DT Mike Williams (Fort Worth All Saints Episcopal)
"UTL" is Texas' "Under the Lights" camp in July:
OrangeBloods saying the team will report back to campus for summer school on June 3rd.
More notes from the road (24/7):
-Coach Robinson was in the Golden Triangle today to see RB Devwah Whaley (Beaumont Central) and RB Kameron Martin (Port Arthur Memorial).
-after Coach Watson saw 2017 QB Jaylon Mascorro (Refugio) throw, an offer should be coming in the "near future."
-a staff member checked on ATH Grayland Arnold (Kountze) today.
-2017 LB Baron Browning (Kennedale) was offered by Ohio State.

Gentlemen-
For those that care, the front page is completely updated with all of the new offers if you're trying to catch up.
Some LSU coaches are supposed to meet with the West Mesquite coaches.
So would this be info gathering or trying to change the W.Mesquite coaches position about not signing the release allowing him to play elsewhere as a UIL player, or even let him have another shot at that school?
If they keep their commitment to the kid does this not mean they think the kid really did not do anything they could not fix? He must have been given warnings, coaches are usually quite liberal with the famous secondthirdfourthfifth chance with stellar players.
And after the Floss update I would like to know why we can't get some Oline commits? ATM seems to be the pipeline to the NFL in this area. And thanks for the update Floss, but referring to folks on this board as gentlemen... very diplomatic.
Scout reporting UT has offered 2017 TE Kedrick James of Waco La Vega:

Update on DE Brandon Bowen of Trophy Club Byron Nelson (24/7):
“I’m interested in Texas,” Bowen said. “I know Charlie Strong really pushes his kids. Texas has a good defensive line, and I know he can push me to become a better player. He can get me to the next level. I look at his NFL development and the academics at Texas, and I’m impressed.”
“While I was down there, I only got to stay in the track area,” Bowen said. “I want to go back this summer. I love Charlie Strong and how he does his work. So I want to get to meet him and sit down with him to talk about the program. I want to get a good look at everything.”
OL Tope Imade from Arlington Bowie talks about receiving a UT offer (24/7):
“Coach Wickline called me and said that they were going to go ahead and offer me,” Imade said. “I was so happy. I was shocked, really. I just said wow to myself. It’s just hard to explain.”
“Right now, it’s even,” Imade said. “I’m going to talk to my dad about it and narrow things down. But I really like Texas. I like the academics and the program as a whole. I also like their history of Nigerian players like Brian Orakpo.”
“I like Coach Wickline,” Imade said. “I think he’s a funny guy, and that’s what I need in a college coach. He said if I go to Texas, he expects me to work hard and be a bad ass.”
