But I have been talking to coach Norvell the most,” Jones said, “I’ve noticed how with UT, they want to get you down there and visit and make it personal before they offer you, and we are basically just trying to set up a time to do that right now.”

“It’s up to me right now. They’ve (Texas) been hinting that there might be an offer soon, so I need to get down there to see them and the campus to see how I would like it,” Jones said, “I’d absolutely consider UT, though. I love Nike, but I like what UA has been doing with their uniforms these past few years. As long as it isn't Adidas, then I'm satisfied. I wonder how much it would effect Nike not having any of Notre Dame, Michigan or Texas.

I agree almost 100%. I don't necessarily like UA's uniforms, but their team apparel and overall sports gear are becoming increasingly cool. Hopefully, Nike and UA get into a massive bidding war because I would like either one as long as they are paying Texas.

Also worth noting that Phil Knight said something to the effect of there wasn't a school nike was more proud to be associated with than Texas so maybe that means something extra... maybe it doesn't. Who knows?
