    Thursday, veteran Texas reporter Chip Brown of HornsDigest.com unleashed a scathing piece on Longhorns athletic director Steve Patterson.

    Several sources, both named and anonymous, told Brown they're fed up with an athletic director they say puts money above all else.

    "Longhorns don’t treat other Longhorns the way he does," Texas alum Sally Lehr told Brown. "But I'm not sure he sees himself as part of the university. I think he sees himself as superior to the university."

    I'll tell you what I see: a pathetic Aggie fan that is so "enamored" with everything Longhorns that you come to our forum to take a dig at a trophy awarded to a 16 year old kid because he performed well at a football camp.     Am I hurting the trophy's feelings? pgardn acknowledged it looked bizarre. The only one here clearly too "enamored" with the Longhorns is the one who can't bring himself to acknowledge the Longhorn trophy looks deformed. I didn't insult the kid at all (I don't even know who he is), don't be ridiculous.
