No big deal really..It always seems to be players who commit early get dropped for those who hold out. Its all about exposure and these sites would rather have those better rankings for kids who wait to commit for news sake. Just my opinion at least

Buechele's teammate OL Chris Owens is one of the top risers in the new 24/7Sports rankings. He is now the 189th best prospect in the country and the 8th ranked guard.

I like Austin Myers, but he recently committed to TCU. Owens is a guy that intrigues me.

It may not be until later this summer, but there is still the possibility that Merrick is moved into the 2015 class.

Hope it works out for him. My guess is Texas will see what they can get on the transfer market and then assess the Merrick situation.

Unfortunately, that decision may not come for a few more months.

Owens projects to guard at his height, so Coach Wickline may want to see him in the spring.

I like him as well, but the 2016 class may be heavy on guys that can play tackle first.

If he does go, he'll ride with his teammate, LB Nathaniel Evans.
