I think the list reflects the uphill battle that is 2016 OL recruiting.

2017 looks promising so far with Walker Little being the prize OT, but still way early.

It may be a premature thought, but I do wonder if Wickline's seat is hot.

And 2017 OL Will Farrar of Fort Bend Travis tweeted he had to cancel.

I would also look out for CB Obi Eboh of Southlake Carroll tomorrow night.

He told Inside Texas recently that he did camp at UT in June, but didn't tell anyone about it.

Scout has been pushing their "mystery recruit" for two weeks now.

I'd say Martin qualifies as a guy the staff would want to keep quiet until "Under the Lights" in an attempt to create some good momentum.

-TE Jamal Pettigrew of New Orleans, LA has already arrived in Austin and met with Strong and Coach Haley.

-LB Jeffrey McCulloch should arrive early Saturday morning with a lot of his high school coaching staff.

-S Chris Brown of Alief Elsik is definitely on commitment watch. He'll be riding into Austin with LB Dontavious Jackson.

-look for 2017 QB Sam Ehlinger (Austin Westlake) and 2017 S Derrick Tucker (Manvel) to receive offers.

Interesting note from Inside Texas...

2017 QB Sam Ehlinger and DE Erick Fowler talk regularly and claim they want to play together.

They played against each other a few weeks ago in 7-on-7 and Fowler took to Twitter aftewards and raved about

Ehlinger's ability.
