I'm avocating for Better Call Saul being a great show worth watching just as much as Breaking Bad. I noted how Breaking Bad started slow. Which in fact, it did.

What is your problem exactly?

I'm avocating for Better Call Saul being a great show worth watching just as much as Breaking Bad. I noted how Breaking Bad started slow. Which in fact, it did.

I was disagreeing with "Lalo was squirming" part of your post.

it was pretty clear lalo was not in an "idgaf" state. pretty much all throughout bb and bcs its ingrained into the viewers minds that salamancas dont just let stuff go, dont like being "punked" and will look to kill anyone for being even the teeniest tiniest bit of a threat or liar to anyone in their family

his mood changed quickly and he was visibly upset that kim completely destroyed his hunch that jimmy was lying to him, and made him feel more insecure about whether his "house" was truly in order. he knew something was up, was certain it was surrounding jimmy, and suddenly had to rethink everything thanks to kim

I thought it was awesome seeing how Kim made Lalo squirm though, talking Jimmy out of a death sentence.

Well crap, I have not seen that part yet.
I really wanted them to overlap. So Excellent. Something to look forward to.
I just got done with the episode where Kim is told she is a horrible person by the Old Man with the property.
I also love the little side scenes in all this with the ants on the ice cream and the broken headed Garden Gnome.
The teddy bear from the airplane in the pool with an eye missing and foreshadowing Gus and the explosion from the bell ringer in BBad. Great stuff!

My wife is watching that damn Yellowstone and Im just thinking how awful... a Cowboy Soap Opera...
The contrast in acting and characters writing is just amazing... how bad a series can be.

The whole Salamanca stuff is tremendous imo.
I like how they are wildly brutal and yet thoughtful and cunning about business.
Playing these characteristics off of each other makes this really good.

Stupid? I actually travel across the USA like a junior Anthony Bourdain and recommend good restaurants. If you're in the LA metro area I'd recommend heading up the 405 to Calabasas and eating here: https://www.saddlepeaklodge.com/menus/#dinner

I did last summer and even though deltavirus was peaking they weren't requiring masks. Not in LA city limits, though the Persian restaurant I ate there also didn't ask me to wear a mask. Saddle Peak is a great place to eat and spend a little dough.

I just dont have time to watch more than an episode or two at a time.

This show has been the best thing in tv for years now and personally I like it better than BB. Sucks its ending but cant wait to see how they wrap it all up.
