    Buffalo is overpaying for everybody (price of being a ty franchise in a ty city), and this looks like cap down the road for sure, but it...at least it generates some excitement and hopefully we can get a couple playoff trips out of it. Still have a first-round ceiling until we fix the QB spot...I'm sure Belichick's deathly afraid of the EJ/Cassel combo, and Suh could possibly kill one of them if they don't revamp the interior OL. They probably will though, definitely looks like Roman wants to pound the rock...would make no sense to tie up 10mil in Clay and Felton then not address the gaping OL holes.

    Clay will get beaucoup bucks, Felton got like 3mil ( for a ing FB), the guaranteed McCoy and Hughes money, and word is that they'll chase Cromartie too, but that's just a rumor afaik. I'm seeing that Harvin is visiting Buffalo first, but why would they want him? We already have that same kind of player, w/o the migraines. I want a big-bodied tall WR, not more of the same soft speedsters.

    EDIT: Losing Searcy sucked...he was a homegrown talent and really starting to shine

    i think they're just trying to make everything as easy as possible for Cassel... trading for McCoy and signing Felton is a very rex move. he loved fullbacks in New York too. Harvin for short easy targets, not making Cassel work too hard. Clay for obvious reasons.

    I really hope we wind up with Harvin though, would be nice after losing out on Cobb. We need anything to spark the passing game.

    It makes more sense for them to get Mathews than Murray. They traded away Lesean McCoy supposedly because of his contract, so why would you want to sign a guy who is going to demand a similar contract?

    Houston never wanted to use a high pick on a QB last year, no matter what. It's become pretty apparent now that O'Brien always had Mallett in the crosshairs. He just needed to Fitz to fill the void for the time being until he could get him here.
