I know I'm extremely late to the party on this, but what do Texans fans think about Kendrick Lewis? The fact that he's signing with the Ravens probably means he'll have a good season, but I'm not sure. They burned a comp pick and gave him a three-year deal, so it seems like they believe in him as a long-term solution. Still, dude seems to be just above average looking at the numbers.

If he can just hit on a couple of picks this will be his best offseason yet. Retained the QB they wanted, brought in another decent backup, re-signed Jackson, re-signed Newton, brought in Moore, Shorts and Wilfork. I'd say just don't up the draft badly and it's a win.

Should be a solid pic-up with Clark retired and Merriweather gone. He's never been a starter so I'm not sure how he's going to adapt if asked to be a starter. But hopefully he'll do well. He is a stud on special teams as well.

The word is he will be our starting strong safety. Only concern is the limited amount of snaps he's got as you mentioned. He's a low risk, high reward player with the contract they got him for. Could of started in a lot of places, but my guess is that he is really impressed with McCloughan that made him want to sign here.

I'm actually not that upset about missing out on Shorts. He's always injured and has stone hands.
Hopefully the tutelage from Earl Thomas, Chancellor, and Richard Sherman will carry over with him. Up to this point though, the DBs from the LOB haven't fared all that well. I think he's young enough to grow.
I want Stevie, but if he doesn't sign with us, there isn't much left and shorts would have been a decent pickup. But i am worried about NT and Wilfork would have been nice. TT doesn't seem to be in on any of the DT's though and they are all beign signed for reasonable prices (outside of Suh, of course)
