New Raiders RB Trent Richardson's two-year deal is worth at least $3.9 million, and as much as $8 million through incentives.

between McCoy/Watkins/Woods/Harvin/Clay they'll have plenty of weapons on offense... but its weird to stack so much talent when your QB is Matt Cassel

no clue, tbh... its not like they have a big need. latavius murray looked like one of the most promising young backs in the league last year once they handed the reigns over... and Helu is a good change of pace. they were bidding for demarco, and apparently felt compelled to add Richardson, who shouldn't be on an NFL roster

as to why they paid him as much as they did, 2 reasons:

    a) reggie mckenzie has proven to be one of the most inept GM's in the NFL when it comes to free agency

    b) we literally HAVE to spend another 25 mil or so just to reach the salary floor

solid deal for both sides. its a lot of money but its just a 1 year commitment, so it can't bite them hard beyond this year. hardy gets money and a prove-it deal

most of the money isn't guaranteed. Most of it is tied to games played.

The actual salary portion is only 750k

its like McKenzie went after Cobb, and then when he took less money to stay in GB, he just gave up. no pursuit for maclin, harvin, stevie johnson, jordan cameron, charles clay, torrey smith. and if by some divine miracle leonard williams fell to 4, we HAVE to take him, but then we're relying on 2nd round receiver to come in and be a #1 guy... not lookin good

at least we signed a center
