BOB and RS did well. I wonder who was behind all the moves this FA. Pretty solid pick ups, tbh. On paper, this defense is building up to beast.

Man they must expect nothing at all out of Clowney if they are adding another defensive end
They lost Brooks Reed via free agency tbh.
I know Watt moves around a lot along the defensive line but dont they already have him and that Jared Crick kid? how many DEs do they need
Oh they run a 3-4 nvm. I thought it was a 4-3 with Watt and Clowney at end
@MarkBermanFox26
Agent Hadley Engelhard says he's been speaking w/the Texans bout free agent ILB Akeem Dent &is "having extensive dialogue with 2other teams"
JJ Watt restructured his contract, giving the Texans 8 million in cap space.
Akeem Dent re-signed. Glad they kept him. He's good depth and a beast on ST.
@MarkBermanFox26
The Texans have interest in former Texans defensive end Antonio Smith who was released by the Raiders.
yeah...I'd be all for a reunion. He'd be perfect as a situational pass rusher.
Filling up on needs before the draft. Nice. Means we can go BPA in most rounds.
got good interior pressure despite low sack totals. was ing horrendous against the run. wasn't worth what we were paying him
this is what they said about the raiders last offseason and it ended up being a bunch of old past their prime s who had little left to offer. except donald penn panned out
I really didn't keep up with Donald Penn last year...did he have a good year?
I miss that guy tbh....![]()
he actually did pretty well, much better than his last year with the Bucs where he struggled. its still disappointing that we let Jared Veldheer walk, but Penn filled in well enough where the loss wasn't noticeable (at least short term). the problem is we already have to address the position for the long haul, which veldheer would have done...
