Everybody needs to be cheering for the Pacers on Wednesday tbh. They beat the Grizz and the Spurs can finish no lower than 5th. In fact, I'd prefer them lose to the Pelis in that scenario

We just have to weather the initial storm by the Pelicans in the first quarter. They're gonna come out guns blazing with a raucous crowd. If we keep it close after that, we'll be fine.

This warriors game also exposed a bit their inexperience and perhaps some tired legs... that was a brutal comeback by Memphis, even if it fell short...

This is the first time I've really analyzed the standings so sorry if this is a repe ive question, but wouldn't we be guaranteed a top 5 seed if we lose against the Pelicans but Houston/LAC/Memphis win their last games?

Memphis has a tie breaker over us I believe. If we're only tied with them, then they get the higher said while the Rox would be 2nd and Clippers 3rd.

The "locker room issues" crap is just Simmons talking out of his ass. Talent is a problem, since our bench is so bad that Naismith spins in his grave whenever they check into the game.

Yeah but our play against opposing star pgs has been problematic and hack-a-Jordan would be used and could either work or fail miserably. We should beat them but it wouldn't be a cakewalk by any stretch.

If Spurs, Clippers, Rockets, Grizzlies all win

If Clippers win, Rockets win, Grizzlies win; Spurs lose

I only listed most scenarios with only of the teams losing. If more than one team loses, then it can change things up further. But all the Spurs have to do is win, and they are 2nd seed. In the unlikely event that all 4 teams lose, Spurs will still be 2nd seed.
