Yeah, it was 8.99 for me iirc. I just cancelled, will wait for some fresh and Orange is The New Black to come back on.
That its already over. They're charging new members like 10 bucks now and honoring old members with the 8 dollar a month for like 2 years. After that, everyone pays the same.

Just like Block Buster went out of business when Redbox and Netflix came around, I predict Netflix will go that way too when TV channels follow HBO's lead and have their own service.
I dont know about the rest of you, but I only watch shows on maybe 6-10 channels, the rest suck. I'd gladly give up my cable service to subscribe to just the few channels I actually watch. Even if they cost $10-$14 a month, it would be cheaper than paying for basic cable.
That HBO NOW service is a ripoff.
15 bucks. That's as much as the whole HBO package is on tv. And that is including all their channel lineup.
I doubt you get all the content that way.
True, it is a ripoff, but it is a step in the right direction. Just like Netflix and Hulu. It may be pricey right now but this IS the future. I would rather pay $30-$60 a month in subscription fee's for channels I WANT to watch, than pay $70-$90 for a ton of channel that I will NEVER watch. Nevermind the ability to cancel individual channels that no longer peak my interest. This will have HUGE implications on networks with popular TV shows.... Think about it, say there is a show on Fox that draws a decent crowd and the network decides to cancel it.... People could drop that network... Then what would they do? People would finally be able to vote with their pockets on what shows stay on the air.
Channels like Fox would be ed and be forced to create content that people WANT to see.

I'm using my brother's account tbh
Ep 4 of daredevil
Getting started tonight, didn't think i'd be interested but have heard too much good things to not check it out. Just finished Bloodline, anyone else see it?
DareDevil is REALLY good.... Like, I thought it would be better than the movie, but it is much better than that piece of trash than I thought it would be TBH.
My only gripe is that I wish they would have shown the way daredevil see's the world a bit more. If I remember right, they only showed 2 glimpses of how he see's things throughout the entire season.
SPOILERS AHEAD
I think they hired a black guy to play Urich so they could kill him off
I did. ing garbage.
Thanks, watching it now.
I thought it was ok but the payoff wasn't what I was hoping. Did a great job of making you hate the Danny character though.
Hey, the guy from Boardwalk Empire is Daredevil. That's pretty cool.
Daredevil is a solid show tbh. Love the parallels between Fisk and Matt.
Bloodline was pretty intense, I liked it.
just finished watching ep 4. wow..
Ep 4 finally getting some kingpin action.
I'm disappointed in the backstory to DD. How did he learn to fight like that? I was looking for something similar to Arrow minus the whole island thing.
Murdock's law partner is annoying. I know they are trying to make him the charming light hearted relief but he sucks.
I haven't got past episode four, but I'm looking forward to a Russian or two kicking his ass.
Kingpin's character is fantastic though.
one negative for me is that i've always hated Rosario Dawson and thought she is massively overrated as an actress and in looks.
The shaved side of the head is a negative imo
Without spoiling it, it's explained further along in the series.
I'm ing scared of car doors now
