steelers vs pats is the season opener
Comes out tonight on the NFL Network
Early leak: Bears at Packers on Thanksgiving night.
My guess is that the Packers will get the AFC West and the NFC West teams this season with Denver, Oakland, San Francisco, and Arizona being the road games.
I always look at back to back road games vs back to back home games. And why some teams have few while others a lot. HUGE, advantage playing another game at home, HUGE, disadvantage playing another road games. Yep, the stats/results prove that out. I look for it in my $$$$ plays. Obviously the perfect "spot" is a team at home "again" playing a team on the road "again".
Why this need to do it as they do..? Why not home/road, home/road, home/road?
Last season the jags started off..
road
road
home
road
they went 0-4
The Saints started off...
road
road
home
road
they went 1-3
Raiders started off..
road
home
road
road
they went 0-4
ans start off...
road
home
road
road
they went 1-3
Save...it all evens out later on. You do not want to start off 1-3, simply common sense, the with...down the road, you are worried about the right now.
You can take any season as far back as pro football goes and you will always find more teams losing that second road game than that second home game. It is a big deal.
In the Pete Carroll era the Seahawks have been in double road games, 10 times, they have won both ..1...time. They have been in double home games, 8 times, they have never lost both.
This Thursday night footbal, is so beyond stupid it's crazy. It will take some player getting seriously hurt and then saying...."I wasn't ready to play, still recoverying from Sunday" before they dump that stupidity.
The Bengals had this situation in 2014.
road
home
home
bye week
road
home
road
home
home
home
That's simply not right.

THis stuff is on a schedule. There is no guesswork about it. The only thing not already known is when each game is.
Which divisions does the NFC South play this year??
afc south & nfc east
Thanks Melohype...
AFC South =
NFC East =
Maybe we'll play Tebow if we're lucky
If Winston and Mariota go #1 and #2....
They will play each other week 1.
Week 3...prepare dat ass.
Been watching my team get ass raped for 15 years bene.....Week 3 will be no different.
BTW....congratulations on drawing the NFC South this year.
there are lot worse divisions to play than NFC East. Half the East sucks.
If Winston and Williams go #1 and #2, Williams will crush Winston week 1.
True dat...You've got a point.
As a Buccaneers fan....you kinda expect the worse. We will probably lose to all four NFC East teams this year. (Got my fingers crossed for the Redskins game)
Nah....Bucs will go 3-13 this year. And that's one of the three wins....
I mean Williams will put him on his back.
Colts schedule is stupid easy. 10 games against the AFC South and NFC South, all remaining difficult opponents will be home games for Indy.
I call it, Stairway to Super Bowl.
Thank goodness the Packers will play the Panthers again.
ty luck for the defending champion Patriots.....BYE in Week 4.
