How depressing would it be if Omer Asik was our big free agent signing?
Would remind me of when we struck out on bigger names and settled for throwing big money at Nesterovic.
I would rather saving the monies than signing him.

I really liked him in Chicago. Was okay in Houston, and sucked in New Orleans.
I could see the Spurs being rumored into signing him this offseason, which I wouldn't mind if someone offers Baynes a contract that we won't match and we can get Asik at $2-$3 million per year for two years, or the BAE.
Ultimately some team desperate for a another big man, (Dallas) will offer possibly their full MLE.
