To answer your earlier question, yes they where and still are
True. And no one is more qualified to contrast the Blazers experience with the Spurs experience than Patty.
Now if the Suns will just set...

Not that I'm using this to illustrate my point but

As I mentioned before this is a move by LMA to not burn his bridges. One of these teams that he is visiting may very well be the team to give him a bigger contract if he bolts SA in two years (if he signs). So it's in his best interest to be courteous but I feel the FO has a firm commitment from him hence all there moves. The Monroe name drop(and so called great meetings) is all smoke and mirrors imo, LMA will be a spur.
Somebody (LMA's agent?) did a huge favor for the Suns by floating them as a credible alternative like that. That has to up their credibility with everyone else who's still out there.
Cheers. That's gotta help, even a little bit.
Man I don't even wanna think about the badass lineup the Spurs will have with LA on board .. all the room it will open up for Kawhi on O..hopefully he's got his head on straight and picks the Spurs
Ps
Damn.. From a fellow spurstalk vet it's great to have timvp back.. Keep thinking I'm reading old threads seeing his name appear..
Welcome back!! And Kori too. Feels like old times.
I second everything you say.
Knicks just signed Afflalo, have a meeting with LMA today.
Oh my.
You would not make the info public because it might what?
Get you to lose a reputation on a sports message board?
.
We gotta believe with you sticking your neck out for us like this.
Thanks man.
We got a wood rat infestation.
And it's comical.
Bow down to the guy who gets the information out first, the Woj Syndrome. Breaking News... We got a poster on ST who claims inside sources have told him... Now I get a prize for breaking the breaking news.
Some reporter will tweet that he got a source that told him that Aldridge really wants to play with Afflalo and that it would be special to win in New York, cause its more fun when you win with a loser franchise.
They can spin it either way. "Loser franchise" or the next great disciple of Phil and his 11 rings.... The former is more applicable, I think.
I have an inside connection too but had not even thought to use it. I just sent a text, will see what I can turn up. It goes from me to a friend then should go (hopefully) directly to a significant Spur. I need to be be deliberately vague about who. I guess I was too busy with work yesterday to think about trying that.
Thanks for ridiculing the other guy to remind me, and if I hear anything back will post info.
And also Ime Udoka was a teammate of Aldridge, when Aldridge was a rookie.
As long as I can break what you broke I feel alive and important.
