Monroe will sign a three year deal, with a player option on the third year, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.
IMO - that's a good sign for SA. Monroe to the Bucks was likely (if at all) the only big selling point left for LMA beside money. Now that it's gone, might mean people know LMA is gone from POR.
In the event LMA actually does come here, I wonder if there's any way at all we could get Pachulia from Milwaukee. He actually had a really solid year last year, and would be a fantastic backup center. Probably a pipedream...not sure what we could give Milwaukee. But they already have Henson, Miles Plumlee, and now Monroe.
So basically the charges on the Morris twins are ing the Suns over?![]()
So now it's basically Aldridge or bust? Although the Monroe signing hopefully takes Portland out of serious contention
Kings dumping salary on Philly makes it more difficult for Philly to take on more salary, and their asking price is extreme. Or the Kings are plain stupid.

Greg Monroe will sign a three-year, $50M deal with the Bucks, including the player option on the final year, sources tell Yahoo.
LMA signing in Phoenix appears beyond far fetched.
Has to just be all conjecture to keep things interesting.
Makes no sense
Koufus and Bargnani are waiting in the wings..
Yep. One is dead, the other is hot. Strange choice of phrasing, but accurate enough.

The Hawks have agreed to terms on a multi-year contract with 7-3 center Walter Tavares, a source told Yahoo Sports.
Yeah, that Splitter trade is awful now. It's not even good if the Spurs get LMA.
So not apart of the Splitter deal
if the Spurs lose out on LMA...
, Spurs needed cap room and they got it. end of story, nothing more to see here. Be happy with a trade exception
Could it be a sign and trade for Splitter?Wishful thinking...
Looks like Robin Lopez should be the new Plan B.
Makes sense for Monroe, with the cap going to eleventy billion next year want to be in a position to get a new max deal in the prime of his career while still getting a significant amount guaranteed today. Left some money on table.
Makes sense for Bucks, if Monroe busts, don't end up with one of those longer term deals at $20MM per weighing down your cap for years. Of course, getting a player to Milwaukee is not easy so you do risk losing him in the near term.
Well, . Who else does Atlanta own the rights to?
LMA HAS SIGNED WITH PHOENIX. MAX DEAL. CONFIRMED BY SOURCES*

I'll drink a gallon of bleach if the Spurs sign Bustnani.
Not necessarily. Spurs East just following orders.
