Sherridan is not reliable IMO. AT all.

However, I see it like this. If we don't hear something by FRI, I doubt LMA is coming. That would tell me 2 things:

    1) He was really torn by leaving POR and extra money and nothing wow'd him so much that he had to jump on it without thinking

    2) Unlikely, but he is just waiting to see if PHX can actually pull something off because he wants to go there.

Could be that he's waiting to see if Phoenix can make the deals they have to make to afford him. And, yeah, that would be a bad sign. I would much rather that he wants to be here more than anywhere else.
If Houston or Phoenix were close, I would think that we would be seeing rumors of them trying to salary dump similar to what we heard about Splitter before he was traded.

Maybe they're not as foolish as the Spurs seemed to have been?

Considering Houston did that last season for Bosh and it didn't work out, I could see them not wanting to jump the gun again.

Mother teams talk. We don't know that Splitter shopping came from Spurs.

I think they were gonna dump Splitter no matter what. Maybe they grew impatient with him and his inability to fight through the injuries. Maybe he was asking for a larger role, he wants to shoot jump shots or something.

We will know by the end of the day tbh. I don't think he's dragging it out much longer, my guess is we'll know by this afternoon.

you just know everything, don't you? What a joy you probably are to hang around.

Green already signed for less then you were estimating, apparently Mills does not need to be moved as you were continually stating. You might want to sit back and realize there are things you might not know happening behind the scenes.

No way, that wouldn't work at all. Pop already has Bargs on speed dial and his bags are packed, just waiting for the call. Bonner will pick him up from the airport. I think they'll also target Jeff Withey

Pop would intentionally foul him in practice.

If LA signs elsewhere, I hope so.

Well they are meeting with Jordan now, so it's either over or it's later. Or the Knicks split up which is probably what happened because Knicks.

DJ is either staying in LA or going to Dallas. Don't think he'd fit well here anyways, and I wouldn't want to pay him the max.

Marc Stein just said on ESPN that it's doubtful he makes a decision today and will most likely decide tomorrow.

Pretty obvious that Parker being included in the meeting has made Aldridge's decision much more difficult, tbh..

When it comes to winning les, the Spurs are like Hannibal Lecter.

When it comes to wooing FAs, the Spurs are like Charlie Brown kicking the football.

    Even Kobe blushes.

Ugh no to DJ. Not even worth close to max money and he would be a terrible fit with Tim and Kawhi.

Meh Marc Stein also called Bosh to Houston last year. I think we'll know by today.

you just know everything, don't you? What a joy you probably are to hang around.
So I knew from this that this was going to be a stupid post.

Green already signed for less then you were estimating
Pretty sure he signed for a higher APY than I was estimating. I said I would include incentives, which we don't know if the Spurs will include themselves. Only difference was an extra year. I said I would give him five. They gave him four. Sooo wrong of me.

apparently Mills does not need to be moved as you were continually stating
Never said he HAD to be moved. I said that moving him along with Splitter is almost necessary to complete a sign-and-trade for LMA. They could have ONLY moved Mills to fit LMA in. Or just Diaw. Or just Splitter like they did.

You might want to sit back and realize there are things you might not know happening behind the scenes.
I think you should sit back and realize that you don't know what people write. Never did I say I knew what the Spurs were going to do. I simply said what math was involved in which transactions and what I thought they SHOULD do. Get it right so you don't make baseless posts next time.

Splitter had many offers in trades, but the Spurs didn't want to take anything back.
