Those guys think everyone wants to sign with either the Lakers or the Knicks.
If PHX is the only other consideration you have to feel pretty good about the Spurs chances.
- SAS can offer as much as PHX so money is not a factor and tax situation gives SAS/TX the advantage
-SAS has the better roster and chance at a le
-son lives in SA and LMA is from TX
-brighter future with a better organization, staff, and talent. Manu/TD retire> frees up cash to bring in more talent to surround KL,LMA core with>LMA is the top dog and heir of legend TD's legacy
The only drawbacks:
- SAS big situation might concern LMA. No certain Center might bother LMA but still TD/Diaw is better than Len imo.
-PHX is closer to Los Angeles and that might be a factor?
- What else?
Those guys think everyone wants to sign with either the Lakers or the Knicks.
ESPN is frantically trying to keep Laker fans engaged while looking forward to a season of having to report on the Spurs.
Doing the Spurs like that![]()
Koufos is going to cost a lot of money. In this market, $6M per year at minimum.
http://www.spurstalk.com/forums/show...49848&page=188 dude you could of posted that in there
What's with all these senseless threads?
incarcerated bob
I have no clue man but this one is up there.
Dude thought PHX was in the WCF in 013 when it was the Spurs and Grizz.
BTW OP, how could they not have made the playoffs in years if they were in the WCF in 013?
Did those re s not realize that Pop and the other coaches are in a second meeting with LMA right now?
- The Spurs have legitimate le expectations.
- As the leader of the Spurs Lamarcus might have the ball in his hands at the end of a playoff game
I'm watching PTI, and they didn't say that at all.
Jeff McDonald is prime for trolling, taking bait on Twitter... Someone get him good...

Agreed, all they want to talk about is LA it seems. If it not Cleveland or Bron it's LA Lakers.
That's what their paycheck tells em to say.
But didn't LMA request the 2d with the Lakers? (Pop wanted the lunch meeting for the Spurs.)
No, the Lakers wanted a chance to redeem themselves.
Don't think so. Pretty sure the Lakers requested the 2nd meeting because they knew they ed up the first meeting talking about everything but basketball. Aldridge said okay and agreed to meet with them again.
Aldridge just loves to get some good free food.
And Chandler is habitually injured. So what's going to happen when he goes down. Plus that roster will be deficient in what has become the most important position in the NBA, a 6'8 wing that can shoot and defend. Giving up Morris to get LMA is gonna hurt. Also, Knight is not that great and Bledsoe is basically Knight. Chandler is not a scorer. So how does that team score enough point to beat GS? And no wing defenders to guard Curry. Again, they can't beat GS, so why join them?
They are trolling you.
