I heard it was with the Sixers and Hornets. They each get LMA for 41 games.
Yes, the body language was excellent. Everyone on the Spurs side was very relaxed.

This site used to be very good but has a horrific moderator problem. Some things, such as the racism, reflect very poorly on Spurs fans.
At the end of the day, Pop is a process guy and as long as LMA is working through a process, Pop can probably respect that and is willing to provide information to assist in that process. The process is wearing on panicky Spurs fans, but it hasn't actually been unreasonably long at this point, given what's at stake for the player. My guess is that Pop wanted another meeting to see where the process stands and to see if he could help, with an extra opportunity to pitch LMA.
From what I understand of Pop, it's equally likely that they talked about Soviet military strategies in Eastern Europe during the Cold War and about some biography that nobody other than Pop and the author have read.
Meh, that's more indicative of society imo.
224 pages and this is my first post. Wow. The meltdown will be sad but funny at the same time if lma s us over![]()
There will be no need for a meltdown, except from kool.
224 is just the start. I bet this thing passes 300, maybe 400 before its done.
Where you might live, I guess.
Yeah, the USA.![]()
Damn, only 3 pages in 6 hours? I know you Americans need some sleep, but damn, disappointing PPM (posts per minute) if this is to reach 400 before it's done.
If LMA farts and Woj tweets about it, this will hit 300 by lunch.
Not sure how reliable how he or this tweet can be...
Jordan Schultz*@Schultz_Report
Source: Suns are getting closer to signing LaMarcus Aldridge. No more meetings between the two sides unless he visits PHX

USA USA USA
Dude, you're either just flat wrong or have only lived in ty places. Anyway, the point stands, the racism and crass stupidity on this board didn't exist before and reflects very badly on the Spurs and most Spurs fans in general.
don't mind me. just dropping in to put my stamp on this thread. history in the making! hah
This is a great comment. I can only hope Pop is talking philosophically about success, to help mend his ego.
It shouldn't be about being "the man" (the irony), deep down he wants to be responsible for his team's success, and I think there is a lot of room for that in San Antonio. Winning cures all, and Spurs tend to win a lot.
Having said all this, if it's true that this is where his head is at and he chooses Suns because of it, we are better off without him long term.
I still have high hopes that he sees the Spurs organization with their class and winning reputation and understands that the sacrifice of his ego is worth it for true success and happiness.
Not sure what you're getting at. Racism is alive and well in the USA. People aren't as open about it as they used to be in public but people reveal their true selves online.
As I said, racism is not a Spurs fan problem. If other sites were as lax in moderation as ST you would see plenty of racism as well. By the way you should try visiting other nba sites, you'll be missing st in no time. Good luck posting any sort of criticism without getting banned.
Whatever source(s) he may have regarding Aldridge appear to tied to the Suns.
Whose lunch? PT or CT?
Pretty vague tweet, but still

TIMVP was talking yesterday about how immobile Hibbert is, and I try not to disagree with him too often. But I remember Hibbert at Georgetown, and in his first couple of years in the NBA. He was no speedier than most giant-sized guys, but I don't think he was any slower.
He's pretty much quit on the Pacers, and that's hard to respect. But I've seen guys get charged up when they landed with a new team that appreciated them. He's a risk, but if Pop is still interested in playing defense (and you know he is), Hibbert could be pretty good at that.
Would he bring the effort? I don't think Pop would give him the chance, anyway. A guy who quit on the floor probably doesn't get a second chance in SA.
