I'm going to be laughing so hard if the Spurs announce that they signed Greg Monroe in the upcoming hours/days.
Portland was already going to offer him the Max. So I don't see this as a charade unless is was strongly considering just leaving Portland.
Plz god, plz.
Meltdown incoming...
Long meeting. Obviously some pretty serious discussion.
Now we wait.
My order of Aldridge threats:
1. Portland - Money could talk loudest when all is said and done.
2. Los Angeles - I would rank them No. 1 if Kobe's contract wasn't on the books. Imagine if L.A. could tell LA that he could pick the free agents to join him. They could still do that to a degree but not quite with that monstrosity on the books. Thanks, Kobe
3. Houston - They've always been pretty damn good at attracting big names. Plus Harden is a good selling point and D Ho would allow LA to stay at PF full-time, which is what he prefers.
4. Dallas - Hometown could have some pull.
5. NY - They're a bit of a mess but if he wants bright lights, it could be more attractive than L.A. since he wouldn't have to deal with Kobe's rotting corpse.
6. Uh, yeah, I'd be shocked if it's any other team.
That ing tweet deserves its own thread just for the incoming meltdown![]()
Damn 2 hours huh? That's a pretty lengthy meeting..
Greg Monroe as a backup plan? I mean, I like that idea better than Millsap.
rumor has it Duncan sat with LMA and explained each and every magic the gathering card in his collection, so i'm surprised it didnt drag longer tbh
Toronto talking to Wes Matthews. If they get him, could entice Aldridge since that was his homie.
What a ridiculous day.
toronto just handed carrol 60 mil. can they afford matthews, carrol, and lma?
Anyone know why Dallas didn't push harder for Aldridge?
That's what I was wondering spurraider21
alridge and dirk do not fit
dirk said he come off bench but who plays in crunch time
True. Not adding a top five big but all in all, a decent move.
Manu too, if he is there.
