Actually, it is much more relevant to basketball with the ignore filter on. Those with a strong take like Chinook have no need for profanity, so the ignore list gets you to the good takes a lot quicker. This place is watered down with too many lame takes otherwise.

Many of have experience with "over moderated" boards. They suck! The boards are designed to self moderate anyway, a bad thread drops due to lack of posts.
Spurs Talk has grown up quite a bit over the years, but the beauty of it is that it never will fully mature and therefore become old.
If you have thin skin then this is no place for you. Also avoid being trolled by ignoring it and/or hit and run (i.e. make a post, then don't come back eagerly awaiting a positive (or any) response). If you care too much about what response you get, once again no place for you.
Now and then you will hit on a decent post and get a positive response. I think the keys are don't try to hard and don't really worry about it.
