It's a good experience for incoming rookies to get some burn before playing with the big boys.

Honestly, I just think we're just excited about the thought of Bonner and Errors not being on the team.![]()
*TALLEST TEAM IN HISTORY*
PG LEBRON JAMES
SG KEVIN DURANT
SF MANUTE BOL
PF GEORGE MURESAN
C BOBAN MARJANOVIC
6TH MAN DEJUAN BLAIR
Not sure if this is posted, but before signing Boban, Spurs had an offer for Joel Freeland, but he turned it down to make more money in Russia.

[QUOTE=BadboyHari;8113018]knows how to shoot, assist.. and he can be angry![]()
so from what i see, he shoots 40% from 3.![]()
Interesting signing, he could be the mix of Rasho and Oberto. The more video I view the more I like it a little bit more.
he gets up and down the floor well for his size
What makes his game, as shown in the various highlight reels, interesting, is his shooting and passing touch. Plus that he does not appear to be afraid of contact. I think that his general lack of quickness would prevent him from being more than a 5th or 4th big in the NBA. Still, on offense you could see him stepping out from the paint at the start of a set with the other big going into the post, with the ball flowing to him either for a jumper or him hitting a cutter to the rim. Of course, he himself can go into the post, and with the general dearth of 5s in the NBA, posting him up in small stretches will probably be an option.
Regardless of quickness, he takes up space and unlike a lot of 7'2"+ tall players this guy is built solidly. This is a very nice addition and of course increases the ability of Pop to keep the minutes of the top 4 bigs in the rotation down some during the reg season as well as to enable Duncan and Aldridge to play more 4.
I'm so waiting for a photo of a Bobi-Mills high five. Although their a good chance it will never happen...
Dobrodošao!
But will it be "Bobo...Boban...Bonner!" ?
Hahahaha......shes a "standgebläse"
I'm probably in the minority here, but I'd actually take Bonner for the minimum at the end of the bench guy.
Actually I think most people support that idea at this point. The problem is that PF isn't much of a need considering we have 4 that are arguably starting quality. And claims that Bonner is a PF/C were mostly just to preserve Duncan's status as a "PF" the year that Bonner started all season.
Still Bonner is a great option - and most people realize that. But the Spurs probably only carry 14 players on the roster this season and they desperately need another wing. Theres just not space for Matt right now.
I agree. I'd like Bonner to remain on the team.

completely agree, exactly my thoughts
i think he will be in the rotation in the regular season at least
me too
