Thanks for the reminder. Completely forgot about this.
NBATV is showing "Hardwood Classics" and has Game 7 set for 4:30-6:00am, Tuesday morning (Central Time). No word what time it starts in Riga
I set my DVR - I had the luck of being in the arena for this one so I've never seen it on TV I don't believe.
After Game 7 they are replaying Game 2 vs. Kings in 1st round of 2006 Playoffs. 128-119 win in OT. Good times!
Thanks for the reminder. Completely forgot about this.
I just happened to scroll forward to see what they're playing overnight on NBATV. Glad I did.
God 2005 was ages ago now... remember watching that game like it was yesterday though.
Good find! And that would 12:30 P.M. Riga time!
other games that are on today are listed in this thread-

That 2008 game against Sacto was the first time I remember them running the hammer play (Brent Barry's tying shot at the end of regulation). Anyone know if this was the first actual time it was used?
The Barry bounce is a misnomer, but it works.
Interesting to relive the 10 day apex of Bonzi Wells' career.
Bruce blocking Chauncey's 3 was the play that sealed game7.
:Lol what a match up nightmare
Missed this showing, but have in my box set of all the Finals wins for the first 4 Championship runs! Will watch!
Don't know if it was cos I was:
- half awake (or mostly sleeping)
- Seen the Game 7 highlights too many times
- Game was overly edited
- Hard for me to watch the Spurs offensive system then compared to now
But I didn't enjoy it as much this time around.
I remember the 2005 series as a nailbiter. Both teams were defensively oriented and game scores were low. The 7th game saw a lot of lead changes and was mostly tied, or one or two points difference until late in the 4th. Neither team was shooting well. Our 3 pt % was crummy. Timmy got a lot of points but was shooting 5/17 at one point. The Spurs offense was simply rudimentary compared to the polished machine we see today.
Knowing we were going to win late saved me from all the nervous anxiety this time around.
game 5 was the . i was on the coast that night and i can certainly remember horry's heroics. all those 3's and that and 1 dunk that dunk was michael jordan's from space jam. eminem having to stfu was the cherry on top.
iirc we blew them out the first two games, then they blew us out the next two but worse.
Manu making clutch FTs sigh
Yeah, game 5 was awesome. Game 7, although close, wasn't nearly as good. I appreciate NBATV dedicating a day to the Spurs but I could have picked a better game lineup.
