It's not really a Spurs day. Tomorrow is Big Dave's birthday so they're showing those to commemorate him. Last time it was to commemorate Manu.

I wish they would show a better variety of Spurs classics. There are so many classics the Spurs played in the past 15-20 years against the Lakers, Suns, Mavs, Sonics, Thunder, etc. It'd be nice to see those once in awhile instead of game 5 in '99 and game 6 in '03 for the 10,000th time.

This. The championship clinching wins are all over, but it's hard to find, say, the Sonics game 6 from 2005...tbh, I was on pins and needles the whole time and pissed because the Seattle fans were laughing and cheering when TD hurt his ankle and then booed when he got up and walked off on his own power. Ray Allen makes that 3 at the buzzer (not too much higher degree of difficulty from the Miami 2013 shot) and maybe we don't have a ring in '05.

Most of the "classic" games with the Mavs in the playoffs, we were on the wrong end of so I don't mind not seeing them again. The only good one of note was the comeback in game 6 in 2003 but that one isn't really hard to find. Likewise, the game 6 @ Thunder game in 2014 (or at least from late in the third quarter onward) is available on Youtube. As far as the Lakers go, again we were on the wrong end of more than half of those and even the close ones we won (for instance, game 5 2003) were only close because we damn near blew it.

There were many "classic" regular season games, like the @ Mavs one in late March 2003 where Tony made the runner over Shawn Bradley in OT to sink the Mavs in Dallas, or the @ Suns one in January 2005 where Manu went baaaad man (48 points). A lot of other cases, like the game in LA in (February?) 2007 where Finley made the game winning 3 at the buzzer (and the Kobe elbow against Manu).

The best was that jackoff center saying he didn't respect the Spurs going to the knicks to never be heard from again.

Jerome James. I don't get why the Sonics broke up that team after such a successful year, honestly. Losing James, Evans, Radman, and Antonio Daniels might not have been the biggest deal on paper (they were never an amazing team on paper to begin with) but it sure messed up their chemistry and rotation and they were never able to reclaim their magic from 2005 and (obviously) ended up trading Allen and Lewis in 2007.
