Looks like the Boys are going to give Michael some burn coming off the bye. I'd be surprised if they gave him more than 6-8 touches to start with, but should be interesting regardless

Honestly Leary is losing his spot due to the QB situation.. If Romo was under center, Leary would still be your starter. This is for the better anyway because Collins reminds me of Larry Allen w/ his ability to get out and lead block

As much as I want him back, I think it's better they chilled and hopefully the roster moves are enough to forge out a win.
Coming into this game I really liked our chances against the Giants. A healthy pass rush and a 6 game win streak against them gave me that confidence. After that loss, I say we sit room and dez the rest of the way.
im a Garrett defender but the guy has no emotion and holds nobody accountable. He claps and encourages every ing thing and I hate it.
cassell reminds me of a discount Chad Pennington. Weak arm but somewhat accurate. I rather him than weeden. At least he's going to take chances downfield but it's a 50/50 chance the pass will be picked off.
the run game and o line was the bright spot. We stuck with 1 back(thanks to a randle injury) and it paid off. McFadden ran with a purpose and had confidence in his abilities for the first time this season.
Demarcus Lawrence is a scrub. He was supposed to be the successor of Demarcus ware and he hasn't done .

T will has stone hands, Cole Beasley was hyped up all training camp. All you heard about was how nobody can cover him and he has been Casper the friendly ghost without romo. We still need a #2 receiver.
we need a kick returner. I hated losing Dwayne Harri, dude was good at special teams, returning and covering. Beasley looks nervous back there and can barely catch the ball cleanly.
the Greg hardy incident. As a cowboy fan, I know our team is always under a microscope. I know during the game, the production crew will put the camera on jerry in the press box, Jerry on the sideline and they will show every sideline argument, shouting match, etc. every team goes through that. I have no problem with hardy yelling at a special teams coach or dez passionately getting his team fired up. Again, this is nothing new. Michael Irvin, Charles Haley, Leon lett, Keith Davis to name a few are players we've had who played with chips on their shoulders and got in teammates faces or argued with coaches. Larry Allen yoked up Jose Cortez after a missed field goal and I loved it! You will not find one teammate, current or former, who will call those guys selfish or cancers. Football is a violent sport and expecting these gladiators to act like choir boys after a self imposed mistake against a division rival is stupid.

Bottom line...lots of needs. Everything weak gets exposed without Romo and Dez.
With all that's lacking, they still had a good chance to get a W last night. But mistakes sealed the loss.

Looking forward, it's hard to give them more than 5 wins on paper. Even as weak as this division is, I don't think 7-9 makes the playoffs.
They won't do it but I agree that they should just rest Dez and Romo.

Morris Claiborne is having a really good year. He's gaining confidence and there's a "good chance" he returns
he was not nervous about Dez Bryant being on the sideline. "He's close to being able to play."
Dez Bryant is a very optimistic guy and it's good to have him around the football team right now.
You could see Byron Jones more and more at the safety spots.
Byron Jones has a big responsibility this week against Jimmy Graham. Did a good job against Rob Gronkowski.
Jeff Heath can bring something to the table at the safety position.
