oh basketball... o-kay. Well with the Jones 5th metatarsal it's a 70–30 chance he doesn't reinjure it like KD or James Anderson did so hey there's that.
Kevin Durant.
He had a foot issue last year and was rushed back only to reaggravate it. Some say he won't be the same.
That's why I say I hope they don't try rushing Dez back.

Looks like the Boys are going to give Michael some burn coming off the bye. I'd be surprised if they gave him more than 6-8 touches to start with, but should be interesting regardless
About time i was calling for this move back in the offseason .damn leary has been awful
Honestly Leary is losing his spot due to the QB situation.. If Romo was under center, Leary would still be your starter. This is for the better anyway because Collins reminds me of Larry Allen w/ his ability to get out and lead block
When asked how he felt about being demoted after three games as the Dallas Cowboys starting quarterback, Brandon Weeden didn’t hold back.
“How do you think I took it?” Weeden said Wednesday. “Obviously I’m pissed.”
“I told them (coaching staff) how I felt,” Weeden said. “They know how I feel. They know I’m pissed.”
Weeden said he would handle the decision “as a pro,” not make excuses and not “throw a pity party for myself.”
Asked if he was being made a scapegoat for an offense that has struggled on several levels, Weeden said, “You guys can dictate however you want to perceive it. I’m not going to comment on it. Like I said, I don’t want to bring the attention to me. I don’t want to say something I shouldn’t say. I’ve got my feelings. I’m going to keep them to myself and go from there.”
pissed at what? Because you can't make more than 3 plays in 3 games?. Weeden is pure trash, why is he acting surprised?
isn't he fighting a bum hammy right now?
Maybe, but not one that would take him out of the lineup.. Garrett said he's "seen enough on tape" to go with Collins moving forward
good to have depth at some positions![]()
Yup.. Leary is a quality backup
Hope the Cowboys aren't going to ruin Dez for nothing. They better be really, really careful here.
Dez knows only one speed, if he comes back he tomorrow he sets himself back another month. Book it.
Dez not on plane with team. Not playing at Giants. Good imo.
As much as I want him back, I think it's better they chilled and hopefully the roster moves are enough to forge out a win.
Coming into this game I really liked our chances against the Giants. A healthy pass rush and a 6 game win streak against them gave me that confidence. After that loss, I say we sit room and dez the rest of the way.
im a Garrett defender but the guy has no emotion and holds nobody accountable. He claps and encourages every ing thing and I hate it.
cassell reminds me of a discount Chad Pennington. Weak arm but somewhat accurate. I rather him than weeden. At least he's going to take chances downfield but it's a 50/50 chance the pass will be picked off.
the run game and o line was the bright spot. We stuck with 1 back(thanks to a randle injury) and it paid off. McFadden ran with a purpose and had confidence in his abilities for the first time this season.
Demarcus Lawrence is a scrub. He was supposed to be the successor of Demarcus ware and he hasn't done .
brandon Carr......Brandon Carr better not be on this team next year. I'm tired of even repeating how much he sucks.
mcclain was rusty and really screwed us with that 3rd down penalty.
church and Wilcox are bums. Byron jones needs to be inserted into the FS spot and send Wilcox to the bench.
T will has stone hands, Cole Beasley was hyped up all training camp. All you heard about was how nobody can cover him and he has been Casper the friendly ghost without romo. We still need a #2 receiver.
we need a kick returner. I hated losing Dwayne Harri, dude was good at special teams, returning and covering. Beasley looks nervous back there and can barely catch the ball cleanly.
the Greg hardy incident. As a cowboy fan, I know our team is always under a microscope. I know during the game, the production crew will put the camera on jerry in the press box, Jerry on the sideline and they will show every sideline argument, shouting match, etc. every team goes through that. I have no problem with hardy yelling at a special teams coach or dez passionately getting his team fired up. Again, this is nothing new. Michael Irvin, Charles Haley, Leon lett, Keith Davis to name a few are players we've had who played with chips on their shoulders and got in teammates faces or argued with coaches. Larry Allen yoked up Jose Cortez after a missed field goal and I loved it! You will not find one teammate, current or former, who will call those guys selfish or cancers. Football is a violent sport and expecting these gladiators to act like choir boys after a self imposed mistake against a division rival is stupid.
Solid take.
Bottom line...lots of needs. Everything weak gets exposed without Romo and Dez.
With all that's lacking, they still had a good chance to get a W last night. But mistakes sealed the loss.
The obvious killers last night...TWill stopping the route, the shorter int. that Cassel threw...the penalty
Beasly trying to catch that punt overhand in his palms? weird
Looking forward, it's hard to give them more than 5 wins on paper. Even as weak as this division is, I don't think 7-9 makes the playoffs.
They won't do it but I agree that they should just rest Dez and Romo.
stephen jones talk with g bag nation
Mark Lane @therealmarklane 2h2 hours ago
#Cowboys COO Stephen Jones tells @gbagnation the offense got into a good flow with Darren McFadden and the running game.
The defense did some good things, but they need to get better on obtaining takeaways.
he has no explanation why the turnovers are not there. Marinelli coaches it constantly.
La'el Collins did well. He brings a lot of athletic ability and youth to the table; did a lot of positives.
the offensive line did a great job of protecting Matt Cassel yesterday.
the #Cowboys will see where Joe Randle is health wise. He had back spasms yesterday.
#Cowboys didn't really need Joe Randle after Darren McFadden got hot and rolling against the #Giants.
#Cowboys know Dwayne Harris is a good football player. They thought Beasley was a better #3 WR though.
#Cowboys knew that Dwayne Harris would be missed, but unfortunately you have to make these decisions.
letting Dwayne Harris go was just a case "not getting to keep them all."
Greg Hardy's at ude is not something to be concerned about. And he's not the first to get frustrated.
Greg Hardy's outward frustrations are part of what help him be great. It's not an issue; teammates respect him
the team is still interested in a long term deal with Greg Hardy.
Greg Hardy is a guy that is interested in being involved in the community.
Morris Claiborne is having a really good year. He's gaining confidence and there's a "good chance" he returns
he was not nervous about Dez Bryant being on the sideline. "He's close to being able to play."
Dez Bryant is a very optimistic guy and it's good to have him around the football team right now.
You could see Byron Jones more and more at the safety spots.
Byron Jones has a big responsibility this week against Jimmy Graham. Did a good job against Rob Gronkowski.
Jeff Heath can bring something to the table at the safety position.
he has a lot of belief in the coaching staff, front office. Everybody believes in this football team.
the media has a good platform right now to be critical, but there are 0 thoughts of team not being together
the #Cowboys deserve to be 2-4 at this point.
he can't imagine Cole Beasley not being the punt returner against the #Seahawks.
Jeff Cavanaugh @JC1053 2h2 hours ago Dallas, TX
"Zero, none at all" - Stephen Jones on if Greg Hardy actions are any concern at all.
"Absolutely" - Stephen Jones on if the team is interested in a long term deal for Greg Hardy.
"We know one thing, we need him on the football field." - Stephen Jones on Byron Jones getting more snaps.
"Yes I can't imagine he's not going to be" - Stephen Jones on if Cole Beasley is still the PR.
sign hardy to a long term deal?![]()
cowboys trying to re-enact the longest yard imo
a better look at hardy w/ the d line:

looks like most of his frustration was at lawrence and crawford. both guys, along with hayden are playing like total pussies this year. get in their ass, greg!!!
dez went off of the media post game after some geek reporter sent this tweet out:
bruce irvin comes to dez's defense. salute to irvin for that, he's a real african
