I re-watched his closing line about 5 times. I was almost in tears.
and Trump was awful

He said as a neurosurgeon he doesn't feel the color of someone's skin is relevant essentially. It was an excellent statement and more people should take that approach in my opinion. He's not pushy, but he comes across as relaxed, intelligent, and humorous. He impressed me more than the others in the debate.
its funny how Republicans and Democrats alike get pissed off at Donald Trump when clowns like Hilary, Obama, Bush JR, Palin, and John Mcain are just as smug and delusional or more.
I'm liking Trump to troll both parties tbh
rooting for him for as long as he can hold it.
the establishment
oh and mexicans and other s for getting mad at him. like no other politician has ever said anything like that before.![]()
what does neurosurgery have to do with being US president?
Carson is so out of his depth. Amazing he got into the first group.
We've seen that career politicians make ty presidents. Time to try something else.
Fresh persoective, like tlong said he's not a career politician. Would be better than Obama.
What does community organizing have to do with being president? At least Carson has actually had a real job in his life.
Bernie is more in touch with normal people than any of the BigCorp Crew, so surely he should be number one.
Obama was a Senator from a major state, not some podunk state like OR.
If by "normal people" you mean union bosses and defense contractors, then sure.
CLEVELAND — Based on his performance in Thursday night’s debate, Wisconsin Governor Scott Walker has emerged as a leading candidate to manage an Enterprise Rent-A-Car branch, Enterprise has confirmed.
Tracy Klugian, a human-resources director for the rental-car giant, said that he did not know what to expect before the debate, but after watching Walker in action he felt confident that the Wisconsinite had “what it takes to succeed at Enterprise.”
“He didn’t get too many moments in the spotlight, but, just from what I saw, I would feel comfortable putting him behind one of our rental counters,” he said.
He indicated that the company would be contacting Walker in the days ahead to discuss a possible future with Enterprise.
“Just to be clear, no promises will be made,” he said. “Best-case scenario, Scott works hard and becomes the manager of one of our branches. For starters, we’d like to train him to be an assistant manager and see how he does with that.”
Enterprise’s faith in Walker appears to be echoed by a new poll, which shows that thirty-one per cent of voters believe he is qualified to assistant-manage a rental-car branch.

How's Oregon's health care exchange?
pollwise, Trump appears to be the weakest of all against HRC:

As ty as our democrat governor who resigned due to ethics violations recently.
Mel Robbins: Trump won.
The first GOP debate is over and Trump is still winning. He dominated the polls leading into the debate. He dominated the pre-debate commentary. He was the only candidate the press greeted when he arrived in Ohio. And most importantly, the rest of the field wasn't that memorable. Yes Trump's shtick works best when he's on the campaign trail, not the debate stage but Trump didn't do too much damage. At least not enough to knock him from his lead. Plus, Fox pounded him with "gotcha' questions - like - "when did you become a Republican" yet Trump stood firm. He won the night because even despite ridiculous assertions like " building a big beautiful door" in the wall he'd build fencing off Mexico, he managed to hold his lead among nine other GOP candidates.

Keep in mind, timing is essential in a campaign. And, at this stage in the race, the public is not yet focused on the election. We're focused on paying bills, the end of summer, the start of school, basically - everything but the election. So Trump grabbed our attention early and even though Rubio, Christie and Kasich had a good night, Trump still was more memorable; which means at this stage in the race he won; for now.

Fox certainly set the bar for aggressive grilling of the candidates. If the pussies at the DNC ever let a debate be scheduled will they allow CNN or MSNBC of whoever the designated slow pitch network is to do the same?
Fox should offer to host a democrat debate and watch them all run and hide...![]()
"What does God tell you to think about America and veterans and puppies?"
Hard hitting.
