Anyone remember J.R. Richards? That was a bad . Would have liked to see what his career would have been if he hadn't had the health issues.

I did read up on the old negro leagues with Satchal Paige, "Cool Papa" Bell and Josh Gibson, doing a study of mine on blacks in sport. Sure I;ve heard of Dock Ellis, Mays, McCovery, Willie Davis etc.
"Cool Papa" was so fast he once hit a grounder between first and second. While rounding first for second he had to jump over the grounder to keep from stepping on it, cat was fast!
