No ? Thanks for the update. I guess I knew what I was talking about then.
You're saying your federal taxes are higher because of what state you live in?

Correct.
Scare tactic
Quicker than typing out his name, you knew immediately who I was talking about.
Gender dysphoria
You'll have to explain that one. Federal tax rates are the same regardless which state you live in. Are you sure you're not referring to state taxes? Are you talking about income taxes?
Trump was influencing the governors through twitter.
I'm thinking he is accustomed to deducting state and local taxes along with property taxes and since Texas has no state taxes, that's not something many here are familiar with. Either way, not allowing you to deduct your state taxes is a state issue, because you paid them taxes. The federal government i.e. taxpayer should not share in your state tax burden.
But hey, if you're paying 50% tax rate, you should be as happy as a pig in the sunshine, being the liberal you are.
They maxed out state tax deductions at 10K. It was unlimited before that. That includes state income tax and property tax. It cost me about 5k last year.
Trump: I'd Rather Run Against Bloomberg Than Bernie

Silicon Valley Leaders’ Plea to Democrats: Anyone but Sanders
Their tech employees are a different story.
Mr. Rabois, who has been a top executive at or invested in
LinkedIn,
Square,
Yelp and
PayPal,
balked. Speaking to the crowd, he drew the line at democratic socialism. (Mr. Buttigieg ended his campaign on Sunday night.)
“I would certainly vote for Trump over Sanders,” Mr. Rabois declared.

iow, no matter how many people Trash tortures and kills, no matter how much of the environment Trash poisons and destroys, Rabois would prefer Trash to Bernie.
Voila, that's Capitalism: sadistic, predatory, extractive, inhumane.
Raging liberal Silicon Valley types are extremely conservative in their
don't-ever- ing-think-of-touching-my-cheese money politics.
Can SV world-beaters' $Bs spent against Bernie overwhelm the votes of their pro-Bernie employees?

That’s the reality of it, boots. Many people aren’t willing to hold their nose and vote for just any candidate.
You have to have more than your base backing you. In this guy’s case no one cares because he’s a rich asshole just looking out for his wallet.
Yeah I thought that Bernie would be a walk in the park candidate for Trump to walk all over. Strange to see scare tactics this early before Bernie has even secured the nomination yet.
The current president disagrees.
wtf?
it defines EVERY trump voter -
dont believe the bull - you have NEVER EVER heard a convincing argument that Trump is an actual decent human -
you HAVE heard a million: "yeah I know he is a ______, ______, & I dont like his _____, _______ & ____ -
but-but - judges....guns....abortion...."
the ONLY reason we have a traitor nazi in the white house (besides russias work) - is because everyone held their nose and destroyed this country with EXACTLY that sentiment and cowardice.
Key word being many.
Quite frankly I feel the same to a way lesser degree. I wouldn’t vote for Trump under any cir stances but I also refuse to vote for Bloomberg, full stop.
This is not true though. The Rust Belt isn’t largely his base, and they were fairly instrumental in giving him the Presidency.
