I am not totally unopposed to another cons utional convention from an idea standpoint, but sheesh it would lead to a catfight of catastrophic proportions.
In terms of the 2nd amendment....why would you want another cons utional convention? Your side has had no problem trampling the 2nd as originally written without amending anything.

I’ve never understood this, if conservatives are such ORIGINALISTS!!!, wouldn’t the originalist interpretation of tbe 2nd amendment only apply to what firearms were when the 2nd amendment was written? Using originalist principles, the 2nd amendment only applies to muskets with those little ball bullets where you need to reload each time
Seems like another case of conservatives wanting to pick and choose the parts of the cons ution that evolve vs. which parts need to be construed in a narrow, originalist fashion.
